Maybe you have to be a local? I don’t really get it. The coffee all sounded good but was watery. The food was basic and you could probably make it better at home. French toast was super soggy and gross. The biscuits were dry even with the gravy. Apple butter was kind of tasty. Pancakes were pretty decent. And the waitress was very nice. The smoke coming out of the kitchen had our eyes burning by the end though.

I can’t believe this place doesn’t have more reviews! We had breakfast there this morning and were pleasantly surprised. The French toast was amazing- not your standard stuff- but filled with that custardy goodness that comes from soaking it overnight. And the bacon-Gouda grits were delicious! We had a wonderfully friendly server named Hazel. The atmosphere was cozy & it seemed to be run by a very friendly family who just want their customers to enjoy a good, reasonably priced meal.

Food was good. I had the chicken cordon Blu wrap with side salad. Very yummy. The side salad was the biggest side salad I’ve ever had. The only complaint was too a while for someone to come to our table. Also had to get up and find someone to give us silverware. It was kinda busy when we first sat down.

Restaurant is seat yourself. Waitress came over shortly after we sat down and gave us menus and took drink order.

Hubs and I stopped by on a recent trip through town. Loved the atmosphere and our server was friendly and kind. It took a while for someone to take our order. I noticed that the folks who came in about 5 minutes after us, had their food before we ordered.

Small cozy hometown place but they received us as family. If you like Starbucks, you must visit this place for their speciality coffees. I hope to go back soon.

So they said “sit anywhere you like” and I asked “Where does the Mayor sit ?” In the side room with all the old High School photos. So there I had a nice politician’s lunch and some coconut pie. Quaint, different and cozy.

Me and my family came from Bartlett to try Main Street Eatery after hearing very good things about it. The food was as good as advertised. The customer service was the complete opposite. Our server made it known to us that she had been “at work for too long” already and acted as if she didn’t have time for us. Again, this was our first time which we even mentioned when we had questions but she got so fed up with us that she rolled her eyes and scoffed at us when we settled to drink water after inquiring if they had hot chocolate (which she informs they did not). She also told us they would NOT serve the lunch menu at 10:50 am and that there would be no substitutions on the menu despite my wife not liking eggs. Finally we asked why it felt like we were frustrating her and she just walked off, literally to never return. I ordered coffee and was not refilled once in two hours. I heard her giving out biscuits to other tables due to wait times but we never received the same treatment until the friendly owner brought them to our table. The food was good and the owner could not have been friendlier or accommodating, however this service from one employee who doesn’t care about customer satisfaction is enough to keep me from Main Street Eatery again.
