The most friendly, welcoming and down to earth server I have had in recent memory! Deliciously homemade food with generous portions, very reasonably priced. Try the unique Frosted Flakes French Toast! Bright and open dining area. We will be back!

SERVICE: No one at host stand, no “Seat Yourself” sign. Waited almost 10 minutes for server to bring menus. Then waited a full hour for our simple breakfast order to be served in a moderately full restaurant, where people who arrived 30 minutes later were served before us. Our server was friendly and chatty. While she accurately described the way fried eggs were prepared, she did not know about the hotcake batter (see below).

If you are a local, you are already familiar with this new restaurant. If you are a traveler, looking for someplace to eat that’s just a few miles off of I-81, then this is this place you’ll want to go. This is real Southern style home cooking. You won’t be disappointed. You’ll get more than you can eat, for less than a fast food place. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can expect a nice clean restaurant to dine in, friendly staff, fresh food and good service. They also sell a variety of sauces, which I have not sampled…yet. A family of 5 can go eat off the menu or special board for under $40 and get a ton of food! It’s a very spacious restaurant with 2 large dining rooms and a buffet with soup & salad & deserts for $11.95. The staff are very sweet and the cook is excellent! A new family favorite for sure!

Before I write the review of the food and restaurant I would like to say that this is no reflection on our waitress Maddy she was nothing short of amazing. She stayed on top of our drinks and was friendly professional and perfect as a waitress so I would give her a 5 star on her service

Not too impressed with this place. Went in for the breakfast buffet and EVERYTHING was either cold, burnt, or old. Sat for 10 minutes before speaking to anyone. And then the hostess had to take our drink orders because the waitress for our section was nowhere to be found. Biscuits and French toast were so hard they couldn’t be cut. Gravy was barely luke warm. Pancakes tasted like they were cooked with a pound of salt in the batter. Sausage Patties were blackened. Really the only good thing on the whole bar was the eggs and bacon. And then was met with a measly $4 discount at the front counter when I told them we didn’t hardly eat anything at all because everything was so burnt or old tasting. I REALLY want to like this place but after about 4-5 visits now I just can’t get into it.

AC is not working. Had to go get our drinks refilled ourselves. Husband only wanted catfish nuggets and slaw and the manager said they had to charge him for the buffet due to that not being an option on the menu. Food was either burnt or cold. The only thing that I was able to eat was the white cheddar macaroni and cheese and still had to pay the buffet price. The owner needs to stick with pawn shop and shooting pool!!! Will not be back!!
