I want to give this place a 5th star but can’t because of the outrageously priced food. Randomly picked this home town restaurant as we normally do as I hate chain restaurants. Right through the entrance I couldn’t tell what the decor wanted to be…Italian/Southern/Country….? The food delivery too had a weird dichotomy with a mix of plastic cups and bowls, porcelain plates, table clothes and paper wrapped silverware. Regardless, the food was delicious, service amazingly awesome, and the beer was cold.

Picked Main Street Grill off of Maps. Staff was friendly and service was good. I had the Florentine Pasta with Salmon. The pasta and sauce was tasty. I asked for the salmon to be medium and it was perfect. Lightly seasoned and very flavorful.

Stopped at the Main Street Grille today with the love of my life. The staff is friendly and service is outstanding and the atmosphere fantastic. My wife had the grilled chicken salad and loved it. I had the best Shrimp and Grits ever. Highly recommended if you’re anywhere near Walterboro S.C.

It’s okay by Walterboro standards. It has very Al Di La vibes as far as decor with the yellow, orange and black colors and low lighting. Took my family out. The kids menu is nice – burgers, chicken bites, shrimp. The regular menu seemed good enough, with appetizers, salads and a fair selection of entrees. I had a burger. My wife had fried shrimp. She gave it an 8 overall, I gave it a 6… For an average of 7 by all voting family members. It seemed a little dirty. The staff could’ve used some diversity. There’s a lot of room that could’ve been used better… In Charleston, they would’ve had 50 tables in that space. Booths would be a plus, as it has nothing but freestanding tables and chairs. The waitresses were a little lazy and inattentive. The prices were reasonable – a tad bit pricey for Walterboro, but I’ve seen and paid way worse. Good location though. If word gets out and this place sees some real clientele, it could have potential to become a great place. They also have a bar in the back, but I didn’t actually see it except by peripheral snippets, as I had kids with me. I could give it a second chance eventually, but wouldn’t make it a regular eatery.
