The food was great and the staff were attentive! You have the option of sitting inside or outside. The decor was fun, but the seats were metal chairs and wooden benches without cushions; that’s the only downfall! (We had just kayaked for 5 hours, and would have loved more comfortable seating.)

Great food, wonderful service, and enjoying it outside on the lower deck was perfect this summer evening. If you like BBQ, this is the place to enjoy it. It’s hard to choose between the ribs, the pulled pork, and the brisket. All are very good, and the smashed potatoes are delicious.

This is my second visit and the food and atmosphere are great! Friendly service and well taken care of! My second visit we had Easter Brunch and we got onion rings to start! They were delicious!!! Had breaded and fried and the dipping sauce was perfect! I had the Chicken and waffles as my entree and it was good! All the meat here is definitely smoked even before it’s fried so if you’re not into smoky flavors just be aware. The chicken and waffles were good! Others at the table had an omelette and the traditional ham dinner with au gratin potatoes and green beans. All of the food was good! Reservations not required but recommended for Fri/Sat dinner. Beautiful view off deck in back of the river. Overall worth a stop!

We had a wonderful experience at Main Street Smokehouse. The owner, David, was friendly and made sure we got a spot outside overlooking the St. Joseph River. I enjoyed their delicious Smokehouse Burger, while my girlfriend loved the perfectly cooked salmon. The food was fantastic, and the outdoor ambiance was lovely. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience. We can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!

Very nice place and awesome food. Finally, a local BBQ place to go to, when you’re craving smoked pit BBQ and ribs. There are plenty of adult beverage choices and soft drinks. Don’t pass by the Poutine Fries. Service was friendly and fast.

A hidden gem in this small town with good food with a beautiful view of the river. The staff are very warm and friendly. Parking lot is across the street. It was moderately crowded during Sunday brunch, would recommend reserving a table online.
