I am from Austin, and I sit and daydream about their Cowboy Corn Nuggets, Squash Medley and Steak! The food is downright Southern Homemade, and I only wish I could match their gravy! It is so creamy, thick, rich, smooth, and savory! And that’s the brown gravy folks! Whenever I am here visiting, I make it a point to stop in. You should, too!

The food was AMAZING!! The breading on the texas trash was great and the oil they use is fresh, you can taste it. Our service was great while we were there, had recommendations for dessert.the decor of the whole place is perfect. I would definitely come here more often if we lived closer, but it’s worth the drive. If you’re driving down 35, be sure to pull off and check this place out.

We went Thursday for the first time, and it was quite excellent. The place looks like Texas, which made me happy, the atmosphere was laid back, the service was on point, and the T-bone was worthy of a steakhouse that would charge twice what I paid. And the owner was very cool, and really cares about his guests. Highly recommend.

If you’re looking for great food in a relaxed atmosphere, this is your place. Belly up to the bar or sit and listen to live music. Hand cut steaks, good beer selection and great service. A little pricey, but worth it.

This is a great local steakhouse. The service was very good. the atmosphere is cowboy casual. The décor is country memorabilia. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The menus is the usual steakhouse fare with some really good Southern & Texas specialties thrown in for good measure. We all had steaks and they were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The sides were generous and well prepared. They have live music on the weekend.

The stuffed flounder is great. Served hot, well seasoned, just plain tasty . I will be back for more. I haven’t tried their steaks but have heard they are good. Give Main Street Steakhouse and Bar in Danbury a try. It will be worth the trip. Update: stopped in for Sunday dinner; the place was not crowded. We had the Cowboy Chicken, large boneless breast with jalapenos, sauteed onions, and cheese – it was delicious. My wife had the fried shrimp, very good.

Georgia our server was great. She played along with us old geezers at the table and all our shenanigans. We Made her laugh a few times. She was sweet. Love the decor and the old building. Owner/mgr (not sure which), she was very engaging. The banana pudding is fabulous. Had a good time. Thanks!
