A taste of New England in Myrtle Beach. This was a gem of a find as we explored Myrtle Beach for the first time. The owners are delightful, greeting each customer as they entered. They have a variety of preparation styles on their menu, we ordered two CT rolls. They came out quickly and were absolutely delicious. Hot and buttery just like we are use to in New England. This is definitely worth the trip if you are in the Myrtle Beach area.

SO GOOD. We tried one Maine and one Connecticut, not sure which one I liked better but it was a good amount of lobster for the price. I really hate celery so finding a place that doesn’t put it in their lobster roll was awesome. It came with coleslaw, a pickle and a bag of chips for $22 which was great. The bread was delicious! They have a lot of options, super nice people.

The lobster rolls here are really very good but my only complaint would be that they are on the small side which disappointed me. Maybe there is a cost point to size ratio that works well for the area, but I’d prefer a larger sandwich at a higher price knowing that lobster isn’t cheap.

Ok…ok.. I’ve been wanting a lobster roll ever since I had one years ago in Greenville SC. I found Mystic while searching for restaurants that service lobster rolls in Myrtle Beach. This restaurant is amazing! I got the cold lobster roll and my husband got the hot one. Absolutely fantastic! It came with a drink, chips, a small cole slaw and a pickle. Mine also came with a lemon wedge which I promptly squeezed over the lobster meat and it was so darn good! Are they pricy? Well, yeah, but it’s going to be expensive regardless because you are in Myrtle Beach but given the portion size, which I thought was plentiful, I didn’t think $65 (that included tip) was bad at all! The bread was perfectly buttered and grilled on both sides. Perfection! The owners were so nice and we let them know how great their food is. If you want a lobster roll please go to Mystic!

I’ve traveled all over, and lobster rolls are one of my favorite things to try. I’ve been eating them for over 40 years and consider myself a connoisseur of the lobster roll and the subtle things that make them great or boring. I had the pleasure of having the Connecticut Lobster Roll at this fine establishment. It was the best I ever had, and I have tried hundreds of them. The lobster meat was right from the ocean fresh with large chunks of claw and tail meat. Perfect portion size. The bread had that subtle toasted crunch on the outside with warm, perfectly raised dough on the inside. It was hollowed out just right and stuffed with tender lobster meat. It had the right amount of bread to lobster ratio. A big mistake places make is too much bread. Not so here. This place knows their rolls. And of course, it was finished with delicious butter that soaked into the lobster and inside of the bread without making a mess. I also recommend a twist on the Connecticut by adding mayo as well. Equally as tasty. This will likely be my only review on Google for lobster rolls. I have finally found the #1 roll in America. Do yourself a favor next time you find yourself in North Myrtle Beach. Get one or two of these rolls, grab an ice cold beer or an arnold palmer, and head down to the beach at sunset. You will never regret such a delicious pleasure in life. You only live once. Enjoy the time you have. Thank you Mystic Lobster. You nailed it.

This is the place to get lobster rolls. They fly in the bread from Connecticut. The meat is flavorful and there is so much of it.

Great little eatery tucked in the plaza w/ Kroger. I got the regular lobster roll, hot w/ butter, side of Mac-n-cheese. The food is phenomenal!!!! Mac-n-cheese is creamy and tasty. The Lobster and roll are mouth watering good! The owner was super friendly and offered suggestions. The location has plenty of parking and seating. Take out is fast and packed well for on the go! Definitely will be back to try to some other items! The Lobster Tacos are next on my list! If you’re looking for good Lobster, you gotta stop here! Definitely a destination to eat for those here on vacation! For the locals, this will be in our regular restaurant rotation!
