My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time today. We were beyond impressed! The restaurant is very clean, bathrooms are very clean, and restaurant is tastefully decorated in a cozy comfortable seafood environment. Our waitress Melanie was terrific! We joked about the sign posted near our table, “Beware of the Attack Waitress”. Melanie was authentically friendly, kind, and very professionally attentive to serving us. We loved our food and went home with leftovers! Haddock, Scallops, and Baked Potatoes were cooked perfectly! We each got an order of broccoli and shared some tuna macaroni salad. We will be repeat customers for sure! This meal and quality service made our day!!! You will not be disappointed and we can clearly see why this restaurant has been in business over 30 years! Got takeout: Lobster bisque and crab cake basket. Decided to add a slice of carrot cake at the last minute. All were delicious. The crab cakes, little domed half-moons, were crispy on the outside and fluffy (best word I could think of) on the inside. The bisque had very good consistency and flavor, though I think the Lobster was pureed with the soup. I would’ve liked some larger chunks!

The food was quite ok. I had grilled Haddock and fries. The fries were fresh and hot but the haddock could be more seasoned therefore flavorful. The waitress was nice but overwhelmed with the number of tables she was attending to. Their prices are very affordable

This is our go-to place for dinner in Plattsburgh. No TVs or music playing (and we didn’t have to listen to anyone’s cell phone conversations either). Lots of space between tables. No electronic gizmos on them. Waitresses friendly and attentive. (I’ve never seen a waiter here. The men probably are out buying fish.) You don’t have to dance in front of anything in the restroom for it to work. The parking lot isn’t a maze. There are options regarding portion size and many other things, but the servings aren’t continually shrinking, and they don’t throw food together that’s about to spoil and pretend it’s a special. I hope this place never changes.

Not from the area but looked up seafood and found this gem. Really fresh seafood and the Cole slaw is amazing, took home a container. Owner was really nice and made great suggestions. Looking forward to going back when we go back to the area.
