I’ve always had great luck in the past ordering from Maje. However, I came to pick up my 12:30pm pickup order (they open at noon) and they door was locked. I thought about leaving but, I had already paid online. Someone eventually came to door at 12:32pm and I eventually got my food at 12:49. Great food but bad experience today.

I’m giving the food 5 stars but I took stars off the overall review because everytime I order through Grubhub, it’s late. So I even went I’d far as to pre-order it ahead of time and schedule a delivery time & they are currently 22 minutes late. They do the delivery themselves even through Grubhub. I love the person that delivers it, I just wish they’d figure something else out.

I went around 10 P.M. and there was this really friendly lady it was my first time going there and I was kinda nervous, I didn’t know what to order or where to sit. Let’s just say I was lost. (I love trying new things, new places to eat ect… and the only bad thing about that is that you don’t know what to expect or if it’s worth the money.) I order the Veggie roll and the Veggie plus roll. The lady was super nice which I absolutely love. I got my sushi and it was delicious!! Trust me when I say that It was so good! They make this sauce which I don’t know what’s in it but it tasted almost like peanut butter and the sauce was so tasty! Then my friend & I went to walk around and we decided to go back and order some more Sushi because it was just so delicious that it left us wanting more and we decided to order something different and it was so delicious! I would definitely go every single time I want sushi! And I don’t the lady’s name but I wish shes there every time I go because I was just so impressed by her attitude and the vibe she gave!

mediocre sushi. does the job of filling your craving but the price is not worth it. Very small portions with soggy seaweed with barely any filling besides rice. Recommend another place, but eat it if you don’t have a choice

My wife and I have been looking for a sushi bar for some time now. Being that this is in a college town, I was hesitant to visit it. My hesitation was well worth the hesitation because all good things come to those who wait. My wife and I both had dinners and shared five additional sushi rolls. I think it was very well worth the money and the time I spent getting into West Lafayette. I will definitely be going back again.

Great place, especially for its price. Staff is friendly and the pickup times is always extremely quick. Fish always tastes fresh and just about all of their rolls are good. They don’t do dine-in, so be sure you plan to take it home with you or eat outside at the seating in Chauncey.
