The curry here is really good and I love that they give you the pickled vegetables for the table. You can use as much as you want. The largest size probably isn’t necessary because it only gives you extra rice and curry. You’ll be left with the extra portions if you don’t add additional meat. Seating is a bit limited.

Since living in japan and coming back to the US I haven’t found any restaurant with curry that’s anywhere as close as delicious like japans. Not even the coco curry in Irvine that place was such a huge disappointment to the coco curry in Nagasaki. My children are in love with this place everything from the hospitality and food exactly like in japan. It was amazing, only thing is that it’s very small but there is a bathroom and the service is extraordinary. We will be coming back for our curry fix.

Good curry and quick service. The curry was full of aromatic spices that made each bite enjoyable. It’s not the best japanese curry that I’ve had, but it’s still pretty good. I think they could have done better with the tonkatsu on top as it wasn’t too crispy.

We went there on Saturday night, waited for an hour to get in. We ordered omelet curry with pork cutlet and omelet curry with hamburger steak. The portion was good. There was pickled veggies on the side which can cut down the heaviness of the curry. The curry was great, very flavorful with a hint of sweetness. The pork cutlet was a little dry, but the hamburger was great. Overall, I think it was pretty good however I don’t know if it worth for an hour wait.

We had a great dinner experience at Maji Curry. As second-time visitors, we learned to add our names to the waitlist via Yelp, which kind of streamlined our waiting process. We sampled three dishes: katsu veg curry, eggplant curry, and beef curry. All of them were delightful; however, we noticed that the eggplant curry was quite similar to the veg portion of the katsu veg curry. The beef curry emerged as the favorite dish among the three. We opted for the maximum heat level, but found that it could still be spicier to suit our taste. Despite the long wait, using Yelp to add our names to the waitlist helped minimize our waiting time at the door. We did have a tasty and pleasant experience!
