Signature Cocktails
Doctor’s Orders
Sammy’s beach bar rum, captain morgan, malibu coconut rum, re’al coconut, orange juice, pineapple juice, passion fruit juice, grated nutmeg a twist on the piña colada, most accounts place the creation of this tiki cocktail classic in the 1970’s by bartender daphne henderson, at the soggy dollar bar in the virgin islands.
Rye Old Fashioned
Knob creek rye, simple syrup, orange slice, brandied cherries, angostura bitters given its name in 1880 the old fashioned was a preparation method rather than the whiskey drink we think of today.
Dark & Stormy
Gosling’s black seal rum, gosling’s ginger beer, lime juice in 1860’s bermuda, the gosling family began experimenting with rum – the result was to be gosling’s black seal. Right after they began brewing ginger beer, and the two inevitably found themselves together in a glass. Legend says a sailor sometime after wwi commented the cocktail was, “the colour of a cloud only a fool or dead man would sail under.”
The Formula (Mai Tai)
Flor de caña 7 yr. Rum, pineapple juice, lemon juice, orange curacao, orgeat syrup, mint created by trader vic in 1944 when some friends were visiting from tahiti. One of the friends tasted the drink and cried out maita’i roa ae! (Literally, “very good”).
Bali Hai Mimosa
Hanalei mix, sparkling wine the mimosa as we know it today was created at the ritz hotel in paris by bartender frank meier. However, many credit alfred hitchcock with popularizing the classic brunch cocktail.
Americana Mule
Tito’s handmade vodka, gosling’s ginger beer the moscow mule was created in 1941 by the president of cock ‘n’ bull and the president of pierre smirnoff to help move the two products. We changed the name for the love of our country.
Polynesian Paralysis
Knob creek rye, pineapple juice, lemon juice, orange juice, orgeat syrup, falernum known in some places as “sleeping giant”, a mainstay of the tiki cocktail lineup started in the 1940’s by don the beachcomber and trader vic.
Bloody Mary
Hangar 1 vodka, elements bloody mary elixir, lime wedge, stuffed olive, cherry tomato, celery stalk its origin is unclear, but fernand petiot claims to have invented the bloody mary in 1921, well before any of the later claims, while working at the new york bar in paris, later becoming harry’s new york bar, which is credited for creating the white lady & side car.
Okole Maluna “Bottoms Up”
Captain morgan, falernum, lemon juice, lime juice, passion fruit purée, grenadine, peychaud’s bitters, lemon zest hawaiian for “bottoms up”, the okole maluna offers all the flavors of a proper tiki cocktail. Rum, fresh juices and falernum give this drink a delicious taste well deserving of its name.
Passion Fruit Paloma
Avión silver, grapefruit juice, passion fruit purée, fresh lime no one knows exactly who invented the paloma, some credit don javier delgado corona of the la capilla bar in jalsico, mexico and note bartender evan harrison as the first to introduce the drink to american audiences. Though the margarita might still be more popular in the states, the paloma is the king south of the border.

An airport resident. We had some time to kill till the next flight, so naturally we hit the bar. It is a nice bar as long as the airport bar goes. Have everything you would expect from a airport bar. Their food looked good but unfortunately we are full after 5 hours of airplane flight, didn’t order anything. They have typical bar food plus poke bowl and the similar dishes. Beer selection on tap was good. You can have Real Kona Brewing’s beer here. (The ones in the mainland are made by Anhauser Bush in the mainland.

I had a short time to get something to eat before my flight, but I liked how inviting this place looked when walking by it on my way to my gate.

If you have time to stop here you should check it out. I had the poki tuna twice it was so good. Tried poki tuna four different places on the island and never thought I’d find the best here at the airport.

Pleasantly surprised by the great food! We came early if that makes a difference at 10:20am. There was no wait at all, we went in, sat and used the QR menu and ordered from it. It took time to load but wasn’t bad. We got greeted by 2 servers they were very kind to both my daughter and I. The food came and it tasted great! My Uncle Gary(?) burger was flavorful and juicy. My daughters stir fried noodles was good as well and she ate a lot of it. Glad we didn’t goto the food court right outside of the TSA!

Pretty good food for an airport. Restaurant is well run, portions are large. Food is pretty good, plenty of seating and service is fast and friendly. No complaints

Meh its just ok. Its a take out store and restaurant. During the pandemic in October 2021 they were offering a limited menu (no sushi). The service was ok, but not great. The food was typical American food with a Hawaiian influence. Not sure why, but all the drinks were served in a plastic cup and the food was served in styrofoam takeout containers (even for dining in). They were not busy during a weekend during lunch, so I don’t see why they couldn’t wash a plate. Staff were standing around.

Antonio! You were an amazing server! Everywhere all at once. Our burger, fries, and teriyaki noodles were hot and fabulous. The portions were huge, definitely hold us over our 6 hour flight home.

Pricy, but it’s too be expected when your locked in an airport. They payment system is a bit clunky but for an airport or was an enjoyable experience. Quiet, clean and tasty pre flight cocktails. Ordered a double Bloody Mary, didn’t taste very strong but was a tasty drink none the less.

A noon layover on Thursday has worked well for us at least. Immediate server attendance and offers to refill our water bottles for the flight. Then, the menu had stuff I’ve never seen like their Loko Moco which was awesome (burger, egg, rice, loads of beef gravy, and potato mac) as well as their fried spam & egg musubi sushi roll. I’m definitely content.

I was exhausted and hungry after the whole cluster F in the domestic hall. This is the only decent looking place to eat amount all C gates. Order lemonade and Loco Moco. First time for me to try Loco Moco so I don’t know this one is authentic or not. But it’s editable . Service is good.
