Fresh, fantastic food in a quaint corner in Makawao. My wife had the chicken curry salad, I had the sliced Turkey sando. Both incredibly delicious bursting with home made flavor. The flavors of curry, the Caesar dressing, balsamic vinaigrette, and the sesame ginger are all over the top good. Sweetest owner serving all eaters with her daughter for the last 30 years. My wife said she would eat here everyday.

Definitely a Maui must! I had the crab avocado and my husband had the roasted chicken sandwich. Both INCREDIBLE! Limited seating but you can enjoy the amazing smells while waiting for takeout and drive to a local park.

Wow! What a hidden gem. If you are not looking forward to it then you will walk right past it. This is a great place for a quick bite or a light lunch. Hands down the best fish sandwich I have ever had. Seating is limited but prices are good and the food is fresh. Highly recommended!!!

We really enjoyed the Makawao Garden Cafe today. The weather was a bit blustery, but after visiting the Haleakalā crater, pretty much everything felt warm! The cafe is easy to miss, as it’s just off the street and kind of tucked in behind another building. We both had the crab and avocado sandwich, which was delicious. There was a family of chickens hanging around that were very entertaining as well. The staff was friendly and the prices were very reasonable.

Nice cafe for a sandwich. I had the roasted chicken, the hero of the sandwich was the focaccia bread, it was fresh baked and toasted, and awesome. My friend had the curry salad and I wish I would have gotten that with a slice of focaccia. No refills on the drinks is a bummer. Service was really good as well as the prices, one of the cheaper meals we have had here on the island. Great setting for when it rained.
