Wow! Crowded place. There was a line out the door at 8PM on a Saturday. I’ve driven past this place a bunch and never thought to stop in, had no idea they had boba either! I got the chicken teriyaki with avocado eel roll and a taro milk tea with tapioca and cheese foam!!! I was excited to try the cheese foam because there are barely any boba shops in Akron at all, let alone ones that have specialty ingredients!! Let me just say, this is the best boba in the Akron area by FAR. this is on par with shops I’ve been to in Columbus. Usually I pretty much have to travel to Cleveland or Columbus to get decent boba that is authentic. I’m so glad I discovered this place! But on to the food. The chicken teriyaki was very fresh. It was served over white rice with cabbage, carrot, onion, and a light teriyaki sauce. I liked the sauce. It wasn’t too sugary or salty. The chicken was a little fatty but the portion was huge for $9. The sushi was fantastic! Very fresh. The atmosphere was a bit cramped but the sushi bar looks really cool. I’ll be a returning customer!:)

Great bubble teas, specially the green tea matcha with sweet bean paste. Sushi is also very yummy, nice portions and quality ingredients that reflect their prices. Service is really good and sitting areas are kept clean and neat.

If you want great service and great food this is the place to go! I stopped by here for lunch with my toddler and we had the chicken teriyaki! The food was so great I had accidentally left my wallet! No problem I called the store when I figured out and they were holding on to it tightly for me! When I stop back up to pick my wallet up I figure I might as well try there boba tea, the drink I got was called dirty milk tea with brown sugar and boba and boy was it delicious. I will definitely be returning and I will tell my family and friends about this place! Thanks Maki house for the wonderful customer service!!!!!!!!!

Hits the spot EVERY time! Everything I have tried here has always been delicious. Whether it has been one if the various teriyaki options, sushi or the bubble tea – you can’t go wrong! The menu spells all the ingredients out very clearly, the staff is super friendly and hard-working and always happy to answer any questions or offer suggestions – which is super helpful since I have food allergies.

So excited to finally have a good sushi and boba place close to home. Best bubble tea I’ve had in a long time and the sushi and teriyaki are great too. Staff is very friendly as well. A little pricey for the tea but worth it in my opinion. I would recommend it to anyone.

Tried this place last night. Ordered online and had food ready to pick up before the 15min timer was up. Ordered 5 rolls along with chicken and rice. High quality food for a relatively good price. No complaints! Definitely a place to try out if you are in the area!
