My shrimp tempura roll was old a chewy and my spicy tuna roll fish was not fresh. When I called to inform they just said we could have done better on your tempura roll…really like no kidding and your spicy tuna that’s just how its suppose to be no ma’am this is raw fish we are talking about.VERY unpleased with my sushi wish I never stopped in won’t be back.

Terrific sushi standby with all the usual menu suspects. Nothing fancy, but what they offer is delicious, fresh and well presented and portioned. I’ve probably eaten here 10 times, and I’ve never had a less than pleasant experience.

Maki Maki has takeout sushi in Bethesda. Fresh, generously apportioned, moderately priced, and beautifully prepared. Our family has enjoyed takeout once or twice a month forever. We would also eat at M-M before COVID, but still was so convenient to swing by and pick up, it was on our regular take-out rotation.

Wow this places was very good. I’d stay away from soft shell crab but everything else is top of the line…hmmmmm the eel was so so good, the mackerel sashimi so fresh I bet it was swimming only hours before it got to my plate. Service matched the great food too.

Ive been looking for a sushi place just like one since I moved from CA. The miso was delicious, the tofu was cut small anx the seaweek was plentiful. The edimame appitizer was large and could have fed a party of 4. Salmonroll is my favorite and they made them perfect. They were larger than im use to and the perfect price! Ill be coming back!
