Arguably the best sushi in Atlanta! Had the most incredible food & service experience at Makimono! I had SO many questions about the menu & drinks and everything was answered with a smile. The food was AMAZING & we enjoyed our drinks as well. Thank you, can’t wait to come back. Located in Krog Street, but be aware that they have a beautiful dining hall as well with great service. 10/10

I enjoy Krog Street Market! It’s got a vibe! We had a taste and decided on Sushi at Makinono and ordered the Crunch Roll that has Shrimp Tempura, Cream Cheese topped with Ebi, Eel Sauce and Sesame Seed. The guy who took our order was not super friendly but the Sushi was Yummy!

This is my favorite sushi place in Atlanta. Definitely take the time to go on the weekend so you can dine inside and enjoy your meal. Miguel is a great waiter and the $5 margaritas hit the spot. Great place to hang out with friends and family.

I like to go to restaurants to observe in detail the service and the quality of the food. My surprise, the day before, that Asian fusion restaurant where they combine Korean, Japanese and Chinese food. Strangely, a Hispanic man, I don’t remember his name, but I know he was Cuban. I was simply amazed. This guy not only served as a waiter but also a bartender and food runner. excellent work boy. On the other hand, the food is not the best I have eaten, but it is of excellent quality. For the price, the drinks seemed excellent to me, five dollars a margarita and that does not seem like a necessity. I recommend this place

The 3.7 rating is honestly atrocious; this place deserves so much better. Weekends are guaranteed busy hours, but the staff did everything in their power to ensure that everyone was served as quickly as possible. Vicky (hope I spelled that right) was the star of the restaurant. She kept up with our whimsy and was extremely personable. Not only that but her positivity still shone through despite having to run around the restaurant. Let’s not forget the food. When we were told that the portion sizes were generous, we were still completely blown away by how large it is. One sushi roll was honestly too much for one person as well as the half serving of wings. But the wings were definitely a highlight. Korean style wings that were at least quadruple the size of normal fast-food restaurant, juicy on the inside, and crisp on the outside with just enough sauce to tie it all together. One of the best Korean fried chicken I’ve ever had! Will be coming back again. Please visit this place whenever your on the beltline!!!

Miguel is the best, so fun. Great margaritas and they are $5, I’m not sure the manager name but she was great. The food was so good and they gave us free sake shots after our dinner. So excited to come back!

The waiter Miguel was wonderful !! The owner was rude. I ordered the vegetable tofu soup it was disgusting . I felt as I as if I was eating chunky egg soup. When I brought it to the owners attention she informed me no refunds but there are no signs at all that state that. She did offer to replace it with another dish although I didn’t want anything else I did settle with the udon soup. My daughter’s chicken was cold and the noodles were nasty. The bento box we also ordered had no flavor. Dirty glasses with some mystery object floating in the water.I will never return here. They’re are much better places in this market with real, quality food not slop. Thank you again Miguel you were amazing! Your boss needs to learn from you

Very odd place. The restaurant itself is always spooky empty while they have at least 3 employees parked at the bar staring at you. They clearly don’t like people to order at the bar, you have to walk 5 feet for no discernable reason… Then if you sit back down you are subjected to the weird stares again. It’s pretty clear they don’t want anyone hanging around their restaurant or bar area. We should get our drinks and leave.

We went to this location yesterday. There was a line to get inside the Krog but this location was not too busy inside when we arrived. It was filled when we were leaving around 7pm. We ordered makimono, twister, dragon and crunch. We also got a kids chicken yakisoba. Everything was generous serving 10 pieces in each roll and noddles were plenty too. Everything tasted delicious and came very quickly. Person who was serving us (sorry couldn’t catch your name) was very nice and attentive. Thank you for a nice experience.
