The atmosphere and vibes of Makin Groceries was outstanding! We had the vegan crunch wrap and the jackfruit tacos and we tore it all up! We also had the juices, they were refreshing and good. They were super friendly to us and we would definitely go back. It was my honey’s first time having vegan food so I was excited for him and I love a good vibe and amazing food so I was a happy girl! ☺️ Highly recommend if you’re looking to eat clean and a nice atmosphere.

Food was awesome. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The Cobb salad was full of flavor. I can’t wait until I go back to try more amazing meals. The menu has a wide variety of choices that are pleasing to the palate. The owner is down to earth and makes you feel welcome. If you are having a rough day just stop by and grab a quick bite. You will definitely leave with a smile. Support local businesses…they rock!

With vegan options being nearly nonexistent in Biloxi, “Makin’ Groceries” is a real gem. The owner Lauren, is very personable and you can tell she puts a lot of love into the food she prepares, as everything is made from scratch (the wait isn’t very long either). The restaurant itself is cute, with vibrant colors and locally featured artwork. Prices are reasonable. And, did I mention the food is delicious . My boyfriend and I patronized this lovely establishment twice in a day, once for breakfast, and once for lunch; he had the vegan breakfast bowl and I had vegan breakfast burrito, both were very tasty and well seasoned. For lunch we had the carrot tacos (my favorite), beet burger, veggie wrap, and the red beans and rice arancinis (also my favorite ). All-in-all this is a great place for anyone who is plant based or anyone that’s looking for healthier food options. We will definitely be back next time we come to Biloxi.

By far the Best little vegan place along the Gulf Coast. Lauren the owner was amusing funny likable and pleasant. My wife and I came down from St Louis MO to do some work on our Airbnb. Other than watching our dogs play in the Gulf. Our visit to Makin’ Groceries was the definite highlight. We had three choices. The bowl the wrap and the tacos. Without a doubt the tofu in each was the best I have EVER had. Amazing grits as well. This little hole in the wall jewel is a definite FOR SURE while visiting Biloxi. I would recommend this place even if you are not a vegan. The food is definitely worthwhile to at least try.
