1st time here. I had the El Chingon burger, my husband had the Jerk burger. Both were very tasty. We also git onion rings wich were geat. Not overly breaded or soggy. Our bartender/server was running the whole front of house, but was keeping up well. They ended up getting injured and the back of house staff came out to assist. Great teamwork! We’ll definitely come back.

This place is great! Get your drinks and burgers here. What you’d expect out of your local burger place — downside is it’s a bit expensive. As cool as the atmosphere is and solid drink selection, I feel I can get more nearby and spend much less. Quality is there, and service is great. It just doesn’t make up for the high price point.

I ordered a French onion burger for to go, and I was very disappointed. The meat was just ok, and they put a tiny piece of tomato (just one) and cheese, it also seems like they found the thinnest little green leaf and put it in my burger. There were onions but with no taste, I didn’t think it was possible if you cook with fire wood, bun is cheap. Fries were not delicious at all! And they charge extra $5 something for it?.. I thought it would be something cool and cooked on fire, but it looks like they thawed some frozen staff and served it. I don’t know if I just didn’t get lucky or they do that when you order for to go. Looking at the reviews I thought it would be something really cool…

Great place for a quick bite, fat burger, fries, beer…and friends. The staff was super friendly and quick. We had the the Jerk Burger and the Burger Burger. They were both delicious, however, I would’ve liked to have some greens on them and not less mayo or cheese. We also had the Korean BBQ ribs and they were scrumptious!!! Nice, crispy and the sauce was amazing. I would definitely go back.

So disappointed in Mak’s. My teenage son and his friends were there tonight and he paid CASH for the bill. As he was trying to calculate the tip from the change she brought back, the waitress chose to berate him saying “you are not going to give me a tip? You should call your mom.” Needless to say, he was shocked and upset. He was planning to tip her but wasn’t sure how to calculate it. He ended up giving her $10 (for their $28 bill) with NO thank you or apology.

Was looking forward to trying Mak’s but was left very disappointed. The selection and flavor profiles were great, but the burgers were very disappointing. If the patties started as fresh burger meat I’d be shocked, as the taste and texture was that of a frozen patty from a big box store. Even had some rubbery bites in mine. At $15 for a mediocre burger with no side it was a ripoff. If it was a slightly bigger, but more importantly an actual quality patty, the price would have been easier to swallow. With two beers and two burgers, no sides, we were at $48 (pretip). Giving a couple stars for the good selection and the good service, but we won’t be recommending or returning.

If you are in LaGrange and wanting a burger, this is a must. Their selections of burgers are phenomenal, fun, extremely delicious. The environment is fun and exciting and engaging. They have outdoor and indoor seating.
