Stopped in while out on LI for work, and I have to say, it was excellent. Nice menu, and excellent drinks (try the mojito) Nice crispy chips to munch on while waiting for your food. I had the chicken flautas and they were dynamite. The refried beans were not my favorite, but that’s a small complaint. Overall, an excellent spot for good, fresh Mexican food and drinks.

We went on a weekday early lunch. Very quiet. We were greeted right away and it was very welcoming. We ordered street corn, the vegetarian quesadilla and the birria enchiladas. They were all flavorful and fresh. The best part was the churro for me. It was pipping hot and smelled so good. Will def come back again to try the tacos.

Not only was the food incredible so was the spot. Owner was super nice, came over and asked how everything was. Ordered chicken tacos, chorizo tacos and the steak quesadilla. I shouldn’t forget about the guac. You can tell everything is very very fresh and homemade. Definitely top quality.oh and order the churros. You won’t regret it. Beer was INCREDIBLY cold too. Which I feel is hard to find these days. 10/10 will absolutely be back!!!!

This place is truly an amazing find. Ive tried various “authentic” mexican food and nothing compares to this spot (at least in longisland). From the drinks to the tacos (they even have tongue) to the story behind it all plus everyone that works there…. its just all phenomenal. The location itself is a bit tricky to get to considering the busy road when getting in, but the location is good considering the busy road if you know what i mean (in terms of foot traffic). The owners great the staff is kind and friendly and i am looking forward to my next visit!

I would definitely recommend the vibe is great and so are the drinks they even gave us a tequila shot that was smooth. I will definitely be going back to this place. My husband and I enjoyed this pre game Mother’s Day outing with our kids thank god for 20 year old lol we had a designated driver but will make sure to Uber next time – would highly recommend and also if you want a taste of Mexico order a Michelada they are not on the menu but they will accomadate or a chelada if you just want a refreshing lime with beer that taste great on a hot summer day 🙂 The food was authentic but in my taste needed a bit of salt but could be to your liking the green sauce is mild but the red jarrito sauce is def hot. I will be posting again when I go back because it’s a great new place we tried out and had a great experience! You won’t regret it!

Came from Massachusetts to visit family staying nearby. Wasn’t sure what to expect. Pleasantly surprised. Party of 6 and all ordered different stuff. All food was fresh and delicious and really nicely presented. They cook well and food was well seasoned but not too salty or greasy at all. Birria was excellent, enchiladas and different homemade sauces were delicious. You can easily tell they know how to cook and put effort in. Would love to go back if around here again. Loud music was great, and its a bar too!

Came here for dinner this weekend. The inside is industrial chic, think a nicer version of Chipotle (with a unique Mexican soda wall). We each ordered three tacos, which are prepared fresh in the kitchen to order. The flavor in the food is fantastic and it is marinated and seasoned very well. The tacos are a good size and fairly filling but maybe slightly undersized for the price (~$5.50 each).

I’m glad to have found another Mexican food place to go to and to say we were not disappointed!! Me and husband decided to give it a try and loved it! We had the steak nachos and we each had a taco chicken/steak just in case we were not going to like it, well to say the least, we loved it. The taco tortilla had a distinct flavor that I have not tasted in other Mexican eatery and that’s because is made fresh from the real yellow corn masa, only wish they could add some pico de gallo so it’s not too dry as you’re swallowing it, the nachos were out of this world all fresh refried beans, fresh queso etc, etc, they were not soggy at all. we met with the owner who was very nice. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Definitely coming back to taste the rest of was in the menu!! FYI, parking is a bit small you might have to park on the street side because it’s in a small shopping center, but don’t let that get in the way!!
