Group of 6. This place is cute and quaint. Everyone loved the food. The main problem is the lack of seating and no umbrellas over the outdoor seating. In the summer, the sun is beating down so that sitting outside without umbrellas is brutal. They have vegan options which is great and the smoothie options are also not too shabby. I can’t do peanut butter so they made me an almond butter cup instead. Overall, we liked the place and would come again, if we can find an open spot to sit.

10 out 10 for aesthetics. Bathroom was cute and clean. Music was too loud and food was mid. Croissant was overly warmed up and crispy. Espresso was good but the $9 protein smoothie got trashed for having too much powder. It was extremely chalky and gross. For the price range of $15 I just expected a little more. Thanks.

My husband and I love Malama Cafe! The environment was very cute, seemed like a good place for breakfast, brunch, and a place to study. We spent our honeymoon in Carolina Beach and we went to Malama probably 3 times the week we were in town. We had a variety of food which were all good and seemed super healthy. My favorite was the coconut vanilla latte which was 10/10. I asked for it to be extra sweet b/c I have a sweet tooth and the flavoring was great. Would love to go back the next time we’re in town!

The atmosphere was so cozy and the perfect place to get a summer beach smoothie bowl. We got the acai bowl and it was delicious but they can be a but pricey(10$). The service was also pretty fast and overall I would recommend checking it out.

Loved this place! My iced latte was delicious and my family tried a variety of the specialty toasts and everyone ate what they got. Highly recommend! There is almost always a line, I got there right after they opened and there were a lot of people in line after me. A clean, bright, trendy vibe. Perfect spot to visit on a beach vacation!

Everywhere else for breakfast was jam packed with lines out the door (ugh tourists) but we’re very glad they were! The atmosphere as soon as you walk in is great. Chill music, lots of coffee sounds happening.

Great coffee – if you’re not a Starbucks fan. However the croissant was a big disappointment – I’ve had better croissants from Costco. Very friendly staff and bustling ambiance. Get there early and enjoy your day!
