Stopped in at Mal’s Diner for breakfast on a weekend. This is a really cool place. The whole restaurant is themed like an old fashioned diner. The service was quick and pleasant. The food was very tasty and hit the spot. Highly recommend stopping for a meal. You will love it as much as we did.

This is an amazing place to eat. We stop here all the time on our way from Powell Butte to Boise. Emma is such a kind sweet person and did an amazing job taking pur order. Ruby made out food and it came out perfect. Such a great place for the price!

My burger was AMAZING Wallie is a great cook! Emma is an amazing host! And Hailey was a great server! Can’t ask for better! My fiancé had the shrimp basket and the beef bite basket cooked to perfection! Will continue to come back!

Visiting family in Nyssa, ordered a quick supper. Nice portions, reasonable prices, and they delivered to the car. Wife had steak bites, I had fish and chips. Only con was I ordered ketchup and received fry sauce. Great experience. Will return when in town again.

Stopped here on a road trip based on the reviews and the food was great! Emma who waited on us was so sweet and attentive! It’s nice to see employees with an upbeat , happy demeanor. The owners are lucky to have her. Don’t forget to have some of their ice cream too!

This place is absolutely ADORABLE. It’s like a little time capsule with both the quality of food, the friendly service and atmosphere! I got the Dave’s Philly with fries while my husband got the Viking Burger with tots. He was pretty impressed that it was not frozen patties. Our waitress was super nice, friendly and just an overall sweet soul. The cook was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our food very much and I’m excited to go back! I would highly recommend going for a great meal, excellent service and a chance to enjoy a part of living history in an absolutely adorable town

Went there first time last weekend and will absolutely be back. Emma and Wally immediately make you feel welcome and very friendly and attentive. My bloody Mary and jalapeno cheeseburger were both 10 out of 10. Just a comfortable, friendly, old school diner with great food. Certainly recommend checking it out!
