First time here but really enjoyed this place! Restaurant was clean, the server was attentive and we got our food pretty quickly. Everything tasted fresh and my pho hit the spot. My boyfriend’s bun rieu was pretty good too. The spring rolls were great as well and the flavors were on point. Great meal overall and I would definitely come back for more when it’s colder in Oakland to try other dishes they have on the menu.

Fast food service. I was having lunch by myself with a baby. They found me a good spot to keep the baby away from potential accidents. I was looking for a good pho place with a good soup base to my taste. This place definitely gas a great soup base. Not too sweet, not too salty. Great flavors. The price is a little higher with the size of a small bowl.

Very clean place, well light. Front desk girl offered some amazing house hot sauce, with my to go Combo Pho. Which, by the way, was full of seasoned broth, fresh veggies and raw beef..sooo delicious. I’d definitely return again.

I was born in Vietnam and here is my opinion as I grew up having authentic Vietnamese food. Pho tastes so bland. The beef rib add-on option was $7.50 more. Nem nuong rolls were 5/10 because the grilled spam was super thin and tasteless, peanut sauce was salty. Overall 7/10.

Almost 5 stars overall (5 stars for friendly staff and clean dining room). So glad Nam Hanoi opened in Oakland, nowhere else to go for solid/good northern style Vietnamese food! We’ve only had them via DoorDash once before today – rare beef pho noodle soup and grilled pork vermicelli (bun cha Hanoi). Was decent/ok but we knew it would be better to eat at the restaurant, which we finally did this afternoon: buddy had rare beef pho and I had the bun reu (tomato & crab vermicelli noodle soup).

From Hawaii and was looking for some soup to warm us up. Parking was very near, customer service was fantastic, and food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the spring rolls, spicy pho and my husband and daughter ordered the #1 pho. We all enjoyed the flavorful soup, veggies, and soft thin slices beef. The spring roll was delicious too, it came with a yummy dipping sauce that I could drink. 5 STARS! We will be back!!!
