My husband and I went to eat, for the first time, at Mama Coco in Vestavia, AL and couldn’t believe how amazing the food tasted. We’d been looking for a better tasting – more authentic – Mexican restaurant and we’ve found what we were looking for!! We both had great tasting meal plus we were just in time for happy hour margaritas which were wonderful!! The entire family will enjoy the delightful decorations straight from the Disney movie Mama Coco!

The food was good. It def hit the spot after running around w the kids! The customer was great and the paintings on the walls were so cute! Totally why the kids picked it The experience did not disappoint. I would suggest salt on the table though. For the chips n salsa. 9.5/10

Servings are huge!(hand for comparison) it’s a great price for the amount of food you get and not only that it was DELICIOUS! I plan to take my family here soon! The service was phenomenal and quick as well. We got Mexican pasta and Chile Verde. The steak was so well cooked and soft and the chicken in my spaghetti tasted well seasoned and the spaghetti itself was saucy and good

We came because of the great reviews and they are justified. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. The staff is super nice, friendly and attentive. We split the Mama Coco fajitas. It was more than enough food for two people. Everything was delicious and hot. All the food is wonderfully flavored and different from any Mexican food we’ve had elsewhere, in a really good way.

Our new favorite Mexican restaurant! We ordered the fish tacos, mama’s dip, and Mexican guacamole. Delightful experience! Fish tacos are solid and not “too fishy”. Space is roomy and bright

To notch Mexican food experience. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a friendly staff. Compared to many Mexican restaurants in the area, this by far beats the competition. My family and I visit often. Our favorite waiter is Leno and shoutout to the manager Paul. You get a lot of food for the money. The service is quick too. As for the restaurant, the place is very clean and you won’t leave smelling like the food for the rest of the day.

I had dinner here recently, and the food was delicious. Great chips, salsa, and queso too! The restaurant itself is really nice inside with tons of space and a bright, airy feel. There were a ton of dishes on the menu, so I’m looking forward to going back and trying out some other dishes as well.

The atmosphere is nice the place is pretty spacious!! The food was good and you get you’re moneys worth because the portions are HUGE!!! I had a grande strawberry margarita with my meal and it was chilled and mixed perfectly!!!

After eating and having given server cash, needing change, they went off to pay our bills. Came back and first words out of their mouth was we can’t take cash (?) and when told what if that’s all we have. The server gave attitude to the ladies and said – oh now you want to be confrontational. Didn’t say that to me, the only male, but confronted them. Poor training.
