The service was fast, friendly and fantastic. All portions were quite large; everyone had a take-away. The Penne Mama Ds pasta was excellent. The Shrimp Scampi was too lemony and salty and not enough buttery garlic. Chix Marsala was okay, a little salty and could not taste the wine. The stuffed Pasta Shells was tasty but had a large amount of mozzarella. Chicken Franchesa was excellent. Our appetizer was Garlic Knots which were warm, wonderful and buttery.

Working nearby for a couple days, a few local people mentioned this place well I had to stop by and boy let me tell you what!! Ms. Nancy recommended the chicken primavera and it was a 10 outta 10!… mozzarella sticks uff highly recommend and the portions are big enough for Lunch tomorrow.. fogeta bout id!!

Very relaxed, casual atmosphere. Water is served in bottles which was nice. Someone recommended the lasagna, so I tried it and it did not disappoint. The pizza was huge..one slice could fill you up. The Alfredo was delicious too. Didn’t try the spaghetti, but was told it was good also.

Mama D’s was the excellent experience I wasn’t anticipating. A quaint looking restaurant nestled off of a highway in Calvert, they have some fantastic looking pizza. I can’t speak to it’s taste but the “pizza roll” that I had was genuinely one of the better pizza-esque items I’ve had since living in Western Kentucky.

Service was great! The beer prices were cheap. The food looked really good but was unfortunately a bit bland. It didn’t taste like it had any garlic or seasoning at all. Food prices were pretty fair.

This place was awful! My husbands food was literally smashed white bread and roast beef lunch meat. My food tasted terrible so I asked to change it and they refused. They charged us for water and it was bottled! My kids chicken was pink on the inside and the food on our sampler plate was such low quality. They atmosphere was so loud and unorganized. The hostess was the most unhappy rude lady of all. The waitresses were not friendly. 10/10 do NOT recommend! I would have rather went to McDonald’s ☹️. Very disappointing!

Love this for a quiet night out. Bread is a little tough but authentic… salad was great and my meal was superb. FYI if you order water you get it in a bottle and charged for it. Not expensive but charged and they only had Unsweetened tea which is a little different.
