Heard about Mamma D’s on the radio. Tried the 3 whole (A) wings and collard greens. The greens have circular sausage pieces mixed in. A bit spicy like the Glory greens in grocery store.

The island potatoe salad is the best potato salad I’ve ever tasted. Please get rid of the red velvet cake. That was absolutely hideous and not good. The oxtail and curry goat was delicious.

Absolutely fantastic customer service, I had a great experience with all the staff and they were very friendly and helpful. The food was relatively good, I was a bit disappointed in the chicken on the chicken and waffle sandwich- but the waffle was very good and so was the Mac and cheese portion. I’m not sure if they ran out of chicken but it seemed as though the chicken on the waffle was a chicken patty instead of in house made. Regardless, it filled me up and was still pretty good and I certainly cannot complain about the service! Would recommend.

So I had some Mama Ds door dashed to me. I simply ordered Lemon Pepper Wings and Macaroni and Cheese. I have to say, there is an upcharge for flavored wings. When I received my order, not one hint of lemon pepper was tasted. Like not even a little bit. As a matter of fact, the chicken tasted like the oil had not been changed recently. Like old grease. The macaroni and cheese had cheese on top but that’s it…just noodles below the top crust. No flavor whatsoever. I was disappointed to say the least. i really tried to enjoy the chicken despite not being the flavor I purchased, but the chicken just tasted bad. I honestly tried to get my kids to eat it and they just walked away…

Brought myself and my two daughters. We all left very full and happy. The jumbo wings and collards were excellent and the kids loved the waffles. Best part was the friendliness of the staff which makes you want to return and try some of the other options.

When we walked in the owner was very nice and played with our littles while we waited for our food. The BEST chicken I have had in this area. I also tried the chicken and waffle sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles and their sauce and it was DELISH! We will def be returning.

Leaving Mama D’s. Spend $53.49 on two plates. I knew the wings was going to be small so i order a addition six to feed my family. (One plate $16.99). This place is super expensive an only have five things on the menu. They don’t tell you about everything they served. Paid for the jumbo chicken wings an only got 1 per plate out of all the chicken we paid for.The lady didn’t told me about the thighs and how you can switch a thigh for a wing. Paid for the jumbo wings an she gave me regular wings. I will never go back again. This place is a ripoff. You cannot even taste the seasoning on the food. Also the you taste that the chicken was sitting in the grease for a wild with it not being hot enough.

The customer service is not something you’ll find often in Fayetteville, all of the staff was so friendly and helpful on our first visit. The waffles are delicious. My family and I tried the chicken and waffle sandwich and the wings. I wasn’t a fan of the chicken, maybe it tasted too fried, I am also kinda of picky with chicken though. I will definitely be back to try a flavored waffle with toppings.
