FOOD: FIVE STARS! Customer Service: ONE Star. I wanted to love it. We drove 45 minutes. We ordered. We waited 45 minutes. Finally, our deep dish Sicilian arrived! I do not eat meat and had ordered it half cheese and onion, half peperoni and sausage. They put lots of meat on the ENTIRE thing – I could not eat it! They handled it VERY poorly. When it came out, I pointed out to the server that it was not correct. Her response was she forgot to check. I told her I could not wait another 45 minutes for them to make me a correct one – my young children were already at the end of their ropes. The manager type person on duty came over after about 10 minutes and asked how everything was. I told her this came out wrong and I was very upset. She offered me cheese fried raviolis (yuck), I declined. I suggested she just refund half the pizza. She said, (appalled) “I can’t do that! The owners don’t want us giving away free food.” I asked her to see what she could do. Well, they charged us $28 b/c they treated it like a 3 topping pizza (even though it was only two toppings per side (it even said “Half onion” on the receipt), and she only refunded us $10. She said it was the best she could do. THIS IS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was obviously not in the wrong, they were. (She even said she was going to see if the server rang it up as I stated – she had.) Thankfully I had ordered a small cheese pizza (house crust) – so I could eat that. The pizza did look delicious, and the pizza sauce was TOP NOTCH on the pizza I did eat. If I am going to drive out of my way, I want good food AND good service. Sadly, this place left a very bad taste in my mouth.

While the pizza is decent, the service tonight was not very good. First thing was my wife’s plastic glass had a crack and was leaking. She had only drank a small amount when we told the waiter, so he gave us a new glass and can of soda…then he said, I’ll pick up the tab…geez, thanks. The second soda was partially frozen, but we let it go. We did not order the pan pizza (which takes up to 45 minutes), but it still took us over 40 minutes to be served. Two tables that arrived after us were served before us (although one table had called their order in, so can’t count that against them).

Breadsticks and pizza were great. Service is pretty slow, but all the food was fresh, hot, and tasted like made-from-scratch. Wait staff was not especially friendly but got our order right and seemed to know the menu well. I don’t know that I’d drive out of my way to have it again, but I’d eat there again if I were in the area and had a few hours to kill.

Al, whenever we have company from out of town this is the place we bring them! I think your pizza and food and bread sticks are out of this world!! But=== the last 2 times we were there the bread sticks were so blah like they forgot something like garlic or just something. We will try again but didn’t know if I should say something or not.

when u get a deep dish it takes 25 to 45mins for it to cook its filled with toppings it weight 7or 8pounds they fill u pizza so why complain.if u don’t want to wait.order a skinny pizza and they might have 5tickets before u.
