The food is absolutely good. No other way to put it. Homemade, you can tell. My friend ordered the curry goat and was in tears when he tasted it! Will be returning. Please ignore the bad reviews.

A great Sunday afternoon lunch with enough leftovers for dinner. Reasonable price for the food options, friendly service and items packaged well for travel home. I hope the restaurant stays around and I hope to try some of their soups on another day when available. Happy to have authentic Jamaica cuisine accessible in Lake County without having to drive to Evanston. We also enjoyed a delicious banana pudding that I ended up having to share with a family member and a beef patty. I look forward to another lazy weekend, in which I don’t want to cook food at home, to get some of the favorites I remember my Jamaican mother cooking for me.

Ate dinner there for the first time tonight and was the last time, the lady at the order desk was very nice but unbelievably slow and then they missed 3 items on the order so then had to wait again and got my wifes meal wrong so couldnt eat it, the mack and cheese had a funny texture so could eat that. Not worth the 91.00 bill. I can not go back!

First time there the lady was very very nice different vibe n the food was just right. I do not eat spicy food or any sort but the jerk tacos was great and wasn’t spicy but it did have a Tang too it. Best believe I will be bringing the family. Oh and the prices is reasonable to me.

As soon as I walked in, I saw the cashier dancing! Her energy was everything! Such a sweet heart! I came to get more beef patties and the lemonades all delicious especially the PPG!!! Someone let me try their beef patty and it was over from there! I told her I’d be back and I meant that!!! Great food! 10/10!!! The beef patty is almost gone as you can see in the picture!
