Food was well priced. Staff was polite and basically effective. The side salads you get before your meal are good size from what the family got and the soup (italian wedding soup) was amazing. I also got Broiled scallops au sherry for my main course with ziti, the marinara sauce they use is smooth and flavorful. The scallops were phenomenally delicious. I would get those again. I got Tiramisu for a dessert it was a little dry but had a great flavor. Everyone else had good meals as well.

This place is almost literally a ‘hole in the ground’ as the restaurant sits below street level and can easily be missed, were it not for the large sign on the sidewalk beckoning you in – accept the invitation! This place is amazing! The food is so good, but you better bring your appetite because they feed you like you’re visiting an Italian grandmother!

The spaghetti and marinara was more like spaghetti with tomato water and my husband’s stuffed shrimp were 4 very tiny, not fresh, greasy shrimps. Just a shame and a waste of money.
