I hate complaining but my experience was pretty bad. The service was really short with me. All I asked is where could I find their menu online and she kept saying “online, look for it”. I asked where that it wasn’t on Google and they didn’t have a website. I told them it was the first time I have ever ordered or eaten there and that’s why I didn’t know. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and small pasta. After waiting in my car for 40 mins for my order to be ready, I paid $25, she handed me only a medium pizza box. I asked for my pasta. That’s when she told me she forgot to inform me they were out of Alfredo. I had to ask to be refunded for the pasta. Why I was charged to begin with not to mention why they didn’t call me when they realized, Idk. But never have I seen such a pathetic looking pizza. No sauce, cardboard thin, and hard as a rock. Half of the pizza was only crust on top. It was cold, small, barely any pepperoni or cheese. Awful. I could have gotten better pizza in minutes at Little Caesars for $6. I didn’t ask for them to remake nor a refund. I try to give local businesses business and hate complaining but they need to do better, a lot better.

Have gotten many pizza’s from Mama Rosa’s in Dothan. Got a large deluxe and a medium vege pizza Wednesday night. Knew something was wrong when the boxes didn’t weigh the way they usually do. Got home and opened the boxes and was not happy. Minimum toppings and the outer 2 1/2 inches (I measured it) of pizza had no sauce or topping. Mike (old owner) would not be happy. Normally the best pizza in Dothan. Not tonight. New employees failed miserably.

We traveled here from 2 hours away because of our experience at our former Mama Rosa’s that closed years ago. When we heard this one was open, we had to try it. It was just the same! Our all time favorite is the chef salad. We got the super chef salad (roast beef, turkey and ham) with the addition of boiled eggs, oil and vinegar dressing. Also a 7″deluxe pizza was stacked high with toppings. Our server was super nice and even gave me a hug on hearing how far we came! Well definitely be returning.

The prices are fantastic and the people are too. Try the garlic sticks, spaghetti with meatballs, and loaded breadsticks. I like the turkey, roast beef, and bacon. Their ranch is amazing and the marinara is some of the best I’ve ever had. Truly delicious!!

We used to love coming here for family dinner. However, the service is no where like it used to be. I can’t remember our waitresses name only that she had blue hair. we had to ask for plates, ask for silverware, ask for refills. I ended up having to go to the counter and ask for refills, pepper, grated Parmesan, and a Togo box (all at different times). All while our waitress sat at the table at the counter playing on her phone. Didn’t offer to help or even attempt to come to our table to see if we needed anything.

They have a 9 inch pizza with cauliflower based crust…and it is fantastic. You must try it. Also have a very good salad! Lunch specials or pizza to go. It’s good home-cooked Italian food. Do it!!

Ordered a pasta through DoorDash of which for some reason they only offer the smaller size. I called Mamma Rosas and asked if I could pay them the difference for the larger size and they literally refused to “take a card over the phone”. So I told her it was my first time trying this restaurant and asked if she’d be willing to upgrade my pasta to a large as a courtesy since she refused to take my money to pay for it. She refused. I ended up having to order a second small sized pasta on DoorDash as a result. They obviously do this to get more of your money. Worst of all, the pasta is bland and flavorless. A complete waste of money on tasteless food!

Great parking. Handicap accessible and easy to navigate in restaurant. Staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean and food was good. Kids menu and public restrooms. The prices are good. Good place to take a large or small group.
