AMAZING food! They truly bring the art of cuisine out of granny’s kitchen and onto a plate right in front of you. I’ve never had better greens in my life. I’m heartbroken I don’t live closer but I will make sure to come straight to Mama Vee’s the next time I’m in town.

We found Mama Vee’s on Google, didn’t know this is a food truck in an outdoor seating area with live band until we got here. This is a hidden Gem guys! Catfish and bbq baked beans were fabulous! Pork chop was thick and juicy! Homemade Apple pie bread pudding was a perfect add-on for the evening!

Don’t know what all the rave reviews are about. It was ok but not outstanding. I got the Burger. It was dry and tough. My wife got the country fried steak and it was good but not outstanding by any means. Had the bread pudding for desert and it was gummy.

My wife and I got the pulled pork sanwich and a burger and it was soooo good. Everything from the crispness of the bun to the seasoning of the fry’s was so delicious. I’d recommend to anyone who is looking to treat their taste buds

Saw the excellent reviews and this west coast girl was excited to have a southern home style experience but instead left dissatisfied and disappointed. Ordered the chicken and waffle – what was supposed to be 2 fried drumsticks came instead as 2 dry, flavorless chicken strips. It’s definitely not the southern experience I was hoping for.

First time!! We will for sure be reg customers from now on!! We tried the pork chop, greens, red beans and rice, potatoes with gravy, catfish, dressing with cranberry sauce, cornbread, candied yams, chicken and waffles, Mac n cheese, apple bread pudding, chocolate cherry lava cake.. we went all in! We’re so glad we did, even all of our kids enjoyed everything! We did not expect every single thing to be so full of flavor, but it was! We’re about to order the other half of the menu next time

We happen to find this place while vacationing. So glad we did. The food was great!! We tried several different things and loved it all. It’s priced fairly for the great food. The outdoor atmosphere was a family treat! And the staff was friendly and amazing. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.
