After seeing some pictures online and hearing some mixed reviews from a few years ago, I figured I would try them out. The owner’s son greeted us at the door… Very nice. Upon ordering the owner, Ms. Weber came out and spoke with us… Also, very nice. So, we ordered the shrimp and grits (which isn’t in the menu anymore but she made them for us), a catfish dinner, a slice of sweet potato pie, and a side of Mac and cheese. We were pleasantly surprised. It all was good. Seasoned very well, very flavorful. , I also like how they but mention my name as if we have known each other for years. Nice personal touch. We will return!

If your reading this review right now , you need to come eat here. We came from Oregon and passed many places on the way here and I’ll tell you this is by far the best food we’ve had in a while. I got the shrimp po’ boy(very juicy and delicious), husband got the pulled pork sandwhich which he loved and my very picky son got the fried shrimp and ate almost all of it. Mama Weber, we will definitely be back to see you.

You absolutely have to come here! The location feels a little weird when you’re outside but the food is absolutely amazing and the service is so kind and welcoming. The whole atmosphere makes you want to sit down and hang out there and just talk with the people. We had had a rough day and came here for food, and the food quality and kindness we received really helped boost my spirits. Get the green beans! We will be back!!

Not enough tables so I couldn’t rate the food. 1 person doing all the cooking so the wait was an hour. Could be a nice place if they invested more into the staffing and seating arrangements. Not too many people gonna wait an hour for their food on the weekend. We just decided to leave the business, we were offered seating outside where it was over 100 degrees and some of the food was out an we were told they had to make more cause there is only 1 cook. I think the woman needs some help especially with big orders or a high influx of people coming in.

It was mine and the hubs first time at Mama’s. I was impressed with the food! The place smelt amazing when we walked in. It definitely reminded me of the south when I visit my sis in law in Florida sometimes we go to Tennessee and Louisiana for good southern food too. This reminds me of it. The catfish I got was truely delicious and full-filling. You get a large portion of food too. Home made is always the best. Mama and her employee were very kind and make you feel like family. We will be coming back for more!

Service was great, food was very delicious and just the pick me up i needed coming from hospital. Only reason not a five is because the ribs were not as tender as I prefer, the flavor of EVERYTHING was fantastic. My husband and I ate very happy we found Mama Weber’s. The Yams are basically a dessert, I absolutely loved them, my Okra and greens. I’m coming back to try the Catfish lol

How have I lived in Mantica for over a year and never heard of this place. That’s because it’s in the industrial park outside of the normal food avenue. But you should definitely check this place out. Amazing ribs, green beans, baked beans and catfish. I can’t wait to try the fried chicken. And the owners are very respectable, interactive and passionate about there food. Highly recommend.
