We ordered the loaded brisket potato meal, cheeseburger, and spicy chicken sandwich. The portions were large and the food was amazing. Really friendly service. I was really happy to find out they are open on Thursday now too. I think this is the best food in Marshall.

Visiting family always like trying local restaurants this place did not disappoint no inside dining drive up and order at the window picnic tables are available. the burnt ends were tender flavorful with just the right amount of fat yummy!! the mac and cheese tasted like grandma’s the green beans seasoned perfect not too much salt portions were plentiful. Whenever I’m in the area will definitely come back! Really this place is a bit off beaten path but a must try they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Go get you some lol

Went here to try something new. It will be our Sunday lunch spot from now on. The Mac and cheese is amazing. The green beans are great not salty like most are and don’t get me started on the fried chicken. Wife said the baked chicken. Was soo tender it falls off the bone.

I’ll start off by saying the food is absolutely delicious! On top of great tasting food is the graciousness and sincerity of the owner, and I must mention the friendly staff member who came over to the picnic table where we were eating and asked how everything was and if we needed anything. The owner gave us samples while we waited for our food to be done, and he even gave us a complimentary catfish portion to take home with us. This was our first time here. We live an hour away, and my husband wanted some good fried chicken on a recent Sunday. We prefer to dine at the “mom-and-pop” places, so I did a little research for fried chicken and hit the jackpot! The fried chicken was more than good, it was amazing, and the fried catfish was so tender and delicious like no other I’ve had here in Missouri. With the amazing food and wonderful hospitality, Mama’s Oven is truly special. It’s a keeper for us, and we will be back!
