In from Arizona, wanted so pizza. St the recommendation of my boss, decided to give it a shot. Huge, tasty slices cooked to perfection. Crispy and chewy crust. Jenny (I think that’s what her name is) was a very friendly waitress that constantly wore a smile despite some customers making a complete mess in the dining area. While I’m here in Alpharetta, I will certainly eat here again before I leave.

Excellent pizzeria with fair prices for a great product. Friendly staff and fresh food. The pizza compares to northeast style thin crust and you won’t be disappointed. Sit at the bar and enjoy their solid draft beer selection as well. Only thing I would like to see changed are later hours on the weekends because this would be a great place to go watch a big game. I had a high expectations since I heard lot of good things about this place. Both pizza we got were below average. Sauce needs more flavor and quality ingredients like fresh mushroom should be used. I will give another try and update my review accordingly.

Mama’s Pizza feels like a New York pizzeria – welcome and inviting. The staff there treat you like long-time friends and make you happy to be there. They have an excellent menu, including fantastic New York style pizza. Their gelato is available in 6 or 8 flavors. Great place to eat!!

Picked a Margerita pizza…made the traditional way without the sauce .. the pizza was good .. service was good.. it was around 6 p.m so there wasn’t much of an atmosphere .. would go back to try more

Absolutely love the vibe. It looks small from the outside, but it’s a very decent size with a small bar. Perhaps, it can fit about 4 people. Absolutely love how light and airy the Sicilian crust taste. Didn’t taste so greasy and I enjoyed that. The cheese was Soo good too. Would 100% go back.

Found out of this place from a co-worker,when I saw how big the slice and how it tasted. I had to Google the place and read the owner is from NY. I went to get two slices and was able to meet him. I thanked him for being a piece y home to Georgia. I have tried other “NY style pizza” and they did not have the taste that Mama’s Pizza has. OMG, they also have Sicilian pie, which I haven’t had it seen I moved out of NY. EVERYONE needs to go eat there,you will not be disappointed

Incredible. That word describes the level of service and the food here. We stopped in two nights in a row because of it. My girlfriend and I ordered the BBQ pizza, Chicken Parmigiana sub, Cheese Wedges, and the Cannoli. The pizza was perfect and beautiful, the chicken in the chicken parm was a little dry, but the sauce and cheese made up for it. The cheese wedges were cooked to perfection and I topped it all off with a delicious old school Cannoli. The 2nd night we couldn’t decide what to eat so we decided Mama’s again. This time we got a large margherita pizza. The pizza once again was just visually appealing and tasted even better. We will definitely be back and let everyone know about it. I also wanted to point out the two girls who ran the front were killing, they made sure the packed tables had drinks and were taken care of as well as answering phone orders, and handling pickups. Those girls are rockstars! Thanks again for making these two out of towners’ experience that much better!
