Very nice restaurant inside and our waitress was sweet. Food was okay. We ordered the mozzarella caprese, needed some more salt. Ordered the pasta combo and salmon piccata, the salmon was over baked. Both dishes needed some more salt. The dessert was pretty good. It was fresh didn’t taste like it had been previously frozen. Couple steps above fazoli’s and a step below olive garden. So this place was just eh.

The restaurant itself is lovely and charming. I had previously had a dish that didn’t thrill me, but had the penne bolgnese last night and it was delicious! It had a great flavor, with a lot of meat in the sauce. I opted for the mushroom soup instead of salad and it was very good. Our waitress was super friendly and perfectly attentive.

Cute upscale location in an old hotel that has been very well maintained. The service was excellent, but the food was pretty average. The eggplant parmesan was surprisingly not breaded, so it was a disappointment since the other Italian places in town do not offer that on the menu.

Cons: Watch your bill. I was charged $4 more for my meal entre than the menu price. In addition, this new “system” of restaurant billing where the bill shows both the CC vs cash price is intentionally deceiving for customers. For instance, my wine was $10/glass on the menu, but the bill shows $10.40. So, the bill itemization comes reflecting what the restaurant “thinks” the customer will pay with (in this case a CC), and therefore the prices do not reflect prices on the menu. The total is then tallied to show a CC price with the CC fee added in that the customer now must assume, with the cash price at the bottom, as if it is some “reward” for paying with cash. Heres my take on this: the bill should reflect the menu prices for accuracy; total tally should reflect the menu prices for accuracy; and the CC price should be shown last to reflect the penalty for paying by CC. The general public is not that stupid that we need to be dished out a reverse psychology game with pricing. I don’t “need” to eat out. I do it for enjoyment. It is not enjoyable to feel duped at the end of the meal.

The TV was on Halloween. The music was 50s sock hop. And the waitress had a language barrier. But screw all that! The food was amazing and that’s all that matters. The spinach ravioli was thick and flavirful. Meatballs are light, as is the marinara. Very pleased.

Excellent garlic knots, Chicken Marsala was delicious, if a bit thinner than expected. Service and view of the river are both top notch. Highly recommended. Handicapped accessible through convenient elevator.

Delicious food… Veal Marsala was fantastic, manicotti, lasagna, carbonara all great… ziti and tortellini good, but not their best offerings. Zucchini cream soup was also a highlight, and the chocolate mousse cake.
