Biscuits were dry, sausage tasted a bit old, no seasoning at all for 15 dollars. I know a lot of people will say don’t go to a papuseria for American food, but if you’re going to sell a dish make sure some care goes into the quality of the food you’re putting out. They seem to have a pretty extensive menu and I’m more than willing to go back here a few times to try different things and change the review as I don’t like going to a place one time and sticking them with a two star.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and had to travel north on rt 1 to find a good spot. Now, that I found this place, I will never have to travel for my American breakfast. The place is small but never crowded and definitely no wait. The food is delicious and the staff are extremely nice. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a breakfast spot.

I am so disappointed in the lack of knowledge of simple pancakes and bacon and french toast, bacon and eggs with cheese. The food came out burnt smh ‍♀️ but I was trying to give them a chance. Then my and my mom’s french toast was burnt also, the eggs were cooked then a slice of cheese put on top of it, not even melted and we just asked for the check and 2 boxes. The check was $59! It was 2 orders of french toast and pancakes for Christ sakes, I paid and said I would be writing a review. I will never go back, don’t put you cook breakfast all day but your cook can’t cook. I wanted to call John Taffer and ask him to help y’all because when it was Miss Elsie’s this would never happen!

Don’t waste your money. Started going here on Saturdays last year. Decent the first couple of times but has absolutely gone down hill. The service was terrible, the food was over cooked and every meal from our table was wrong.

Food was mediocre. Service was very slow and they add the top to the bill.

DO NOT GO HERE! This restaurant stole our credit card information and attempted to make charges. Thankfully the credit car company was able to stop it. DO NOT GO HERE!

This restaurant is super clean. The service is great. The food tastes great too! I was impressed by the presentation and obvious care put into preparing everything.

I have read the other reviews, and noticed most of those who reviewed over 2 months ago were not happy. I was not here then. But they just opened in February, more than likely they were working out the kinks. They renovated the inside, looks really nice. This was the best salsa I have ever had, great flavor. Husband thought so also. We both enjoyed the pupusas. And as far as the music being to loud. When we walked in the owner asked if the music was to loud for us. And they do have karaoke from Thursday threw Sunday’s starting at 8pm. We did not have a problem talking during our wonderful dinner. We eat early so the karaoke will not be an issue with us. Food was great and we will be back. For sure

At Mana’s Pupuseria you will be greeted with a smile. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The menu is a winner! I can choose between American diner style breakfast or stick the The traditional central American menu. I’ve had both and so far…I have not been disappointed. Every item I’ve ordered from the Pupusas, tacos, Carnes asada to the French toast and eggs has been to my liking. Don’t pass it up. I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, recently ate here with Friends from El Salvador and the food didn’t taste good at all. The garlic shrimp had no aroma or taste of garlic. The shredded beef meal was cold and tastes less per them. The waitress was lackluster at best. I tried to call the owner of our disappointing visit but I do not get a call back. I called several times. I called Falls Church and they spoke English until I asked for owner. The Alexandria rest. Wouldn’t give me her name or the owners name, outright refused. Took my information west I was calling then said call back next week. Exactly what she told me last Saturday. I preferred to advise owner instead of a bad review but they gave me no choice. After close to $700 spent at this restaurant, I’m so disappointed. My same friends ate this restaurant food 3 times prior and it was delicious. I’m hoping weekend chef was out but I’m too afraid to try again. Owner please pay attention to what’s happening at your Alexandria rest. So your business doesn’t go into decline
