The restaurant atmosphere is very homey with a great view of the Fort Pierce inlet. Our server was very quick and attentive and clearly new the menu well. She told us Manatee was known for Fish and Chips, so we had to order it, along with Jambalaya “Bayou Stew” and the Manatee Island Baby Back Ribs.

When we walked in our party of 3 was seated promptly, and drink orders we’re taken. Our waiter was great, and was by by frequently, but I will say it was odd that our appetizers we’re delivered to our table with our meal versus then before to be eaten before hand as we we’re hungry after spending the afternoon on the beach. I will also note this restaurant seems a little bit pricey for their portions they bring to you.

It is a cool restaurant. The view is outstanding, right on the water. Our waiter was young, but very attentive, nice and polite. Everyone was nice and polite. It would be 5 stars for service but there was a slight delay with getting some condiments ( not from our waiter, but from the person that delivered the food). Also my meal came out in stages. I had the Mahi Tacos, which came with rice covered with black beans. It was decent. Really the only negative with the food, was that the Mahi while seasoned well was pretty overcooked. The rice and beans were cold and the ‘late’ plantains were cold…. The sad part is if the plantains would have been on time they may have been warm…. Because even cold they may have been the most inspired part of the dish. (Coming from someone who normally doesn’t care for plantains).

Love the tiki bar patio! Especially after a day at the beach. Mojito was great, not the Pina colada though. It was more icey than creamy. The food is delicious. My daughter didn’t care for the stuffed salmon. She loved the coconut rice. My favorite was the haddock fish and chips and the steamed clam appetizer. The fish sandwich was really delish. Certain dishes are pretty pricey but it is a restaurant on the water. I love the ambience and view! Staff are always friendly and attentive. These are pictures from the 2 times that I’ve been there for lunch.

I would only recommend this restaurant for drinks and the view. Food was OK, nothing great. I had the grouper rueben and the grouper was fried and greasy. The bread was toasted and it tasted as though it was toasted on a grill that has not been cleaned. My husband had the salad with tuna on it and said it was good. The drinks were good and the weather was perfect the day we were there. The patio was completely covered which offered a lot of shade. Indoor seating was available as well.

This is one if those tourist-type restaurants. They charge way too much for their food. While the food was solid, I would say it is not worth the price. I got the fish sandwich, which was like 16 dollars. It comes with chips; if you want fries instead, that will cost you more. But it was the service that had me never coming back. Guys, this place was empty; we should have gotten world-class service. But no. We waited ten minutes for our server to come over. Then forever for our food. It seemed she was more concerned with talking to her friends and doing prep then she was with making sure we were good. When she did finally come back, I asked for a water refill. She said sure. That never happened. Then when it was time to go, we asked for a to go water and soda. She brought back two to-go cups without lids and said they didn’t have any. This is where my mind was blown. They literally gave my son a cup with a lid. It was sitting right in front of us. But they didn’t have any lids. Crazy. This place is trash. Go anywhere else you will save money and get better service.

Right on the water, seats where outside with live music 7 days a week, till 8:30pm, plenty of free parking. Only had drinks and desert, but the chocolate cake was amazing. Cool view of channel 300 yard off Alantic ocean. Plenty of shade and air conditioning inside. Bathrooms are ok. Music was really good for a 1 man show. Reasonably priced for area.

Expect it to be busy, it’s a good location. The atmosphere is great. They serve you quickly once you get seated, sometimes a wait but the food and view makeup for it. Bar is a good option. The grouper reuben is great.

Best place to get food and drinks especially between 3-6 at happy hour. Bartender was great and the food was fantastic. The best food I’ve had since we got to Florida 4 days ago. HIGHLY recommend the flatbread margarita pizza.

The view is great and the location is super convenient. The food is horribly under seasoned and laughably expensive for how poorly it was done. If I’m paying $17 for calamari, I expect that it won’t feel like chewing bubble gum (I also bit down on a beak). It wasn’t busy when we went at all, and yet it took 25 minutes to receive a single slice of cake. Definitely would not go again at all. But the view was nice.
