Service is the star. It was great. Food was runner-up tonight. Won tons were very hard in soup. Like they had been cooked too long. Could barely cut them. Shrimp, certainly frozen before. I did like the fresh bok choy in it. Did not care for the pieces of BBQ pork in it. Especially when I got my main dish and it had the same shreds of pork. Made me feel like it was not unique to any dish, BBQ pork chow mein. The noodles were great. The portions were way too much for one. This is a place for 2 or more people.

Our first visit to this restaurant … Outstanding! Don’t think twice. The food was fresh, made to order, and plentiful. Service was above and beyond. On the menu: Hot and Sour Soup, Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Dry Braised Green Beans with Minced Pork (OMG), Broccoli Beef, Beef Chow Mein, Lemon Chicken, Vegetable Fried Rice. All served steaming hot, made to order, and seasoned to perfection. Not overly salted and NO MSG. The sauce on the Lemon Chicken was light and not sicky-sweet. Fabulous presentation. Lovely Sauvignon Blanc from Page Mill Winery from Livermore was a wonderful compliment to all the dinner items. Kudos to the chefs and staff. They were so fun and friendly. Cheers!!! We’ll be back soon (from Alameda).

The restaurant is beautiful, the restrooms were well designed and spotless. If you are looking for good Chinese food with a pleasant atmosphere, Mandarin Delight is the perfect choice.

Amazing restaurant! It’s not very large and wildly popular, try and make a rez before you arrive. The owner saw we were football fans and took the time to chat with us about the upcoming games. Everything about their food is AMAZING. We are going back before we leave town!!

After a morning of cherry picking, we were ready to fill our bellies with something good. However, the choices close to Brentwood on our way home were few and far between. We searched for something that seemed good and this place kept popping up. After a short discussion, and with nothing else to go on except the few reviews we found, we decided this would be worth the risk.

A classic Chinese delight. We tried their onion cakes, orange chicken, egg foo yang with veggies, and vegetable chow mein. Onion cakes were nice and crispy and a great way to start the meal. Orange chicken was still crispy when they served it in the sauce. Egg foo yang was my favorite and it came in a very very very generous amount. Vegetable chow mein was a tad more salty than our taste, but full of vegetables and tofu.
