This place is a gem, only place we go for takeout. Vastly better than any other Chinese Restaurant I’ve been to and we are picky. Consistent high quality Chinese food. Best orange chicken, use real white meat chicken. Best Crab Rangoon. Eggrolls are fantastic too. I have not had a bad dish from here.

I got carry out today here, first time. This place actually called me like two hours after I finished eating dinner and asked me if everything was alright. Never had that happen before. Food was good too. Im a pretty firm believer that if a saint louis Chinese restaurant doesn’t have good crab rangoon, then it doesn’t really matter if everything else is good on the menu. This place has good Rangoon. Not the best I’ve ever had, but very good. House special Rice and hot braised chicken also very good.

Mandarin Garden is a fantastic Chinese restaurant that serves some of the best Chinese food. The food is fresh and delicious, with a variety of dishes to choose from. I especially love the mandarin beef, chicken fried rice and the crab rangoon. Only problem I have when ordering takeout is the line is always busy.

My favorite Chinese Restaurant! If you were a regular before they closed, then you know the process and the personalities involved. It’s worth every penny and the wait. I have been going to Mandarin Gardens for over a decade. I was glad to hear that they are back open. The food continues to be consistently great even with the head cook still recuperating. Edna is now in the kitchen directing the cooks. 🙂 They have a long list of regulars. I finally got my first order in since they opened back up. My biggest surprise was I got a phone call from them the night I ordered. She asked if I was satisfied with my food. I said a BIG YES and happy they were back. What restaurant does that to see how you liked their food?
