I have been eating here for years, going back to 1982. The food and service has always been good. The atmosphere not so much. They have the same décor from back when I first started eating here (1982). Today 07/28/23 I ordered take out for lunch. I got the #2 combo meal=Mandarin Chicken, fried rice, chow mien and fried shrimp. I ordered a small fried egg roll on the side and extra mandarin sauce. Not sure what has happened to this place but the meal was not up to par as it usually is. The fried rice was very bland as well as the chow mien. The egg roll did not seem to be cooked#fried enough, it was quite mushy. The fried shrimp was mostly batter. The way they packaged the food was out of the ordinary, they put everything in a Styrofoam container in comparison to the Chinese food take out boxes that is usually used. With this the portions were a lot smaller than normal. I feel like they may have changed ownership/management as well as bringing on new cooks for the food to not be consistently delicious as it usually is.

So very tasty! I’ve eaten at many Chinese places in socal, and this is much more authentic and delicious. The prices are really good, about $10-12 for a big plate of food, but it’s quality and not just quantity. And the owner is very friendly and neighborly! With all that, I thought I ought to leave a review, highly recommend!

One of our meals was great, the other was horrible. I ordered from grub hub and I would have sent the entire dish back. The fried rice was definitely cooked in old oil that was burnt.. completely inedible. The shrimp still had the poop veins! Had to throw that out. This restaurant used to be great but I’ve had issues with the last two orders now, I don’t think I’ll eat there again

It’s been a long time since I had eaten here so I wanted to give it another shot. And I should have stayed away. I placed a takeout order and the wait was insanely long. It took over an hour for me to receive my food. They were extremely disorganized. When I did receive my food, it was barely warm. The broccoli beef had plenty of meat and broccoli, but the beef was chewy and under-sauced. The Mandarin chicken was more fried batter than chicken. The sauce wasn’t too bad though. And the fried rice was pretty tasty. There was no apology for the wait and the food was mostly subpar. That’s what I get though. I hope I don’t have stomach issues.

Delicious food, very clean atmosphere. Very fast delivery of food to my table after ordering. Very quiet and peaceful. I ordered the lunch special mandarins chicken with pork fried rice. And a side of pot stickers with a Pepsi. Very tasty. And the staff is super nice and approachable. I will definitely be coming back again.

We have been hard pressed finding a quality Chinese food place in Boise since our favorite, (Twin Dragon), closed about 10 years ago.

I was very dissatisfied with the food, the fried rice was a clump of brown mush, the mandarin chicken was very chewy. I will not be going back or ordering take out ever again.

Lots of parking and seating. On my request they made the Mandarin Chicken lunch special to order with white meat. Fair prices. Good tea. Friendly staff.

I will never eat here again… was my favorite restaurant 30 years ago when I was 7…happy memories… went for my birthday dinner to recreate memories…. Walked into the bathroom and was disgusted.. if a bathroom looks like this I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like. And my daughters general chicken cold in the middle. Never again…. Seriously just walk into the bathroom it’s disgusting, wanted to leave but had my big birthday group with me.
