The grilled pompano fish was tender and moist. We enjoyed its charred, smoky taste. The lamb haneeth was very tender, and tasted quite good. Generous portion of rice. Sambosa was okay. Overall happy with this place.

Unbelievable food. Came from Hyderabad to eat one of the best soul quenching food that I have eaten in a while. The kabsa laham was impeccable and flavor packed. The raita like mint yogurt drink absolutely balanced my meal and saved me from the Arizona summer midday. Will definitely come back and make it my comfort food away from home. Amazing authentic Yemeni food. Had the Mahdi meat plate (lamb with rice) and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked lamb, spiced rice, not too spicy but could add sauce to make it hotter. Will come back

At first, this place seemed legit and healthy. We do not eat out much, we cook at home everyday. But after our 4th time eating there, we were given something different than what we ordered and there was HAIR in the food. The hosts were kind and hospitable, but we just can’t rationalize with HAIR in food. That was our last and only time ever eating there again, as we are disgusted and disappointed by our experience. HAIR in food is NOT Halal! Too bad, because they lost some good customers. ✌

A not so secret gem in Tempe. This was my first time here and it was delicious!! The portions are huge… very much family style and everything was delicious. I would recommend going with some patience. They are very busy and there is only one server. But who cares when you have yummy food in front of you.
