We were just looking for a nice place to eat and when I heard Italian food, I thought to my self; more frozen pizza and bad pastas that only taste like garlic. But to my surprise, Mandola’s Italian kitchen was very good, the place is well decorated with a lot of typical authentic Italian decorations, I personally enjoyed the pictures from different towns in Italy and the flags from different football (soccer) teams.

I can’t believe we waited so long to try Mandola’s! I love the atmosphere. Comforting and kind of feels like eating at family’s house. You can just go in and seat yourself. It feels casual but at the same time, you’re getting a nice dining experience with great food.

We decided to have lunch here and we were not disappointed. It’s kinda set up as a fast food place but the food is very good. We also had some gelato but that is definitely not their forte. It was just ok. Too full to try any desserts but they look good. Overall recommend if around the area.

Nice place, but the food is very lacking. Starting with the complimentary focaccia bread was nice and according to my wife was the best part of the meal. The food came out super-fast, almost too fast. The appetizer was at the table before I returned with our waters and cutlery. We ordered fried mozzarella for the starter; they were overcooked and had an odd flavor, likely acceptable for others and loved by kids, but we didn’t finish them. We both happened to order the lasagna for our main dish. We were both very disappointed in what came out. The noodles were mush… it basically dissolved in your mouth. I don’t think I’ve had worse cooked lasagna noodles. My wife couldn’t stomach the texture or flavor and stopped after only a couple bites. Then she was a tad annoyed when she burned her arm on the extremely hot pottery. It appeared to be a nice environment with a lot of families and children. The service was good and the place was clean; however, because of the food we won’t be back.

Mandola’s Italian Kitchen brings a different way to what an Italian eatery is in the area, so you have to go in line to order at the register like you would be at a deli or cafe and after you order and you fill your drinks at the station and you finally seat, the experience transforms into a restaurant experience where you get your food serve and they clean your table, definitely different but still they have down to a science despite being the first week, the place is beautiful, immaculate, looks vibrant, definitely Italian and the food was great, definitely Italian, portions were great, flavor was great. The staff was helpful and really nice. So about the food, the Mista Salad with grilled chicken was great, fresh vegetables, light vinaigrette and excellent chicken that was grilled to perfection. The Spaghetti with Italian sausages was one of the best I’ve had in this area so far, the light marinara kept me wanting more and the Italian sausages were on point, the basil taste was used expertly in the process of making the sausages and I was told by a member of the staff that everything is made in house which makes it even better. My daughter loved the kids cheese ravioli and the gelato, so overall it was a good experience, I’m very satisfied with the food and service at Mandola’s Italian Kitchen.
