Best Italian we’ve found on the coast so far … Mangiamo ! Meatballs are tender and delicious, Alfredo was clearly made on site by someone who knows how to make Alfredo and the pizza was perfectly cooked – crisp bottom and cooked throughout despite the mountain of toppings.

1ST RESPONDER, MILITARY and AARP DISCOUNT. A surprise for a strip mall. New mall but….very nice decor inside. Some water views next to CPT ALs restaurant. Had the lunch menu. 10 in Funghi pizza with fresh arugula and prosciutto. Crust was very good. We also had the Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo. 5 LARGE shrimp and very tasty . Their bread, they serve at each table, is home made and served with a olive oil and Italian seasoning. Overall, I hope this place makes it.

My husband and I were out and about in Gulfport and didn’t know where we’d like to eat. I wanted to take him somewhere nice in celebration of Father’s Day. This place popped up, and I thought it sounded authentic and quaint. Walked in, the atmosphere was nice from the start. Sinatra was playing on the speakers at just the right volume, and they immediately asked us where we’d like to sit. I couldn’t decide between the Shrimp and Grits or the Seafood Lasagna so Hubby and I got both, as well as some roasted potatoes. The food was EXCELLENT. The server (Kevin) was very attentive, but not overly so. This was despite how often my husband and I changed what we were drinking (coffee, soda water, etc), and despite my asking a million questionsabout menu items. The Seafood Lasagna may not have been as photogenic as the Shrimp and Grits, so I don’t have a photo but MAN. It was the BEST. It was RICH, perfect for a “cheat meal.” Had a very unique buttery profile, yet something familiar enough to taste like comfort food. The tiramisu was top knotch as well. I also really enjoyed my coffee, and my husband enjoyed his Smores Old Fashioned. We both said we would come back time and again just for the atmosphere and that LASAGNA! The shrimp and grits were amazing as well- as they had polenta in lieu of regular grits and an unique flavor profile I’d never had before either. It’s just our personal favorite was that Lasagna haha! Very happy with our random choice. Even more pleased that my husband enjoyed his well deserved Father’s Day dinner- especially since he has somewhat refined tastes. We will certainly be back, for a window seat witha view of the water next time.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch. Looking forward to returning soon. The waiter told me about this wonderful off the menu shrimp, crabmeat and crawfish pasta dish. It was great. I was surprised when l was charged an extra $15 to ad the crab and crawfish.

We bombarded this restaurant with 30+ women on 23 February 2023, but of course we had reservations. They were set up for us, they were very attentive, the food was excellent. We shared some fried mozzarella sticks that were delicious, and their bread we had to order more it was so good. I highly recommend this restaurant, please support. Your local businesses I have the lasagna of course it was so much I had to take some home. I’m sorry I don’t remember the waitresses names. However, I’m sure they’ll remember us. We are the retired ladies with no place to be and No hurry to get there! And very pleasant experience will definitely be back!

First time here and might be my last, unless I come back for the beef carpaccio (which I couldn’t get because they were out of it). Let me start out by saying I had high expectations before coming here, because I heard a former chef from Stalla restaurant opened Mangiamo up with a lot of similar items from there.

This was our second time eating here and we had nothing but praise from the first time. Our first experience was a lunch service. This time was an early dinner service. Not sure if it was a staffing issue or something else. It took almost an hour and a half to get our meal from the time it was placed. The food had been sitting under the heat lamp for so long it was dry and crusted on top, one order couldn’t be eaten due to the hair in it. We are all older couples with gray hair, this was long and black. We weren’t the only customers with issues. Our first visit the owner came by and chatted with us. This visit the owners son was dropped off so he could deal with another customer complaining of the service. Pretty sure we will never be back.

Easy parking. Friendly hostess, seated fairly quick without a reservation. Server was friendly and knowledgeable of what was available and not on the menu. No specials. I ordered a French 75 which was a little off I’m thinking either the lemon juice or simple syrup was not fresh and it was served with a lime wedge instead of a lemon twist. Server brought out bread service with olive oil and garlic for dipping, it was very tasty. Ordered a side salad to go with my pasta dish and the Italian dressing was very spicy, I thought it might just be me so I had my husband finish it and he agreed. Burned my tongue and lips. My pasta dish was the Penne with A La Vodka sauce. It was made in an unusual way to me, I thought I give it a try but it’s very cheesy, kind of overbearing cheesy. My experience has always been with that sauce is it’s mariana with heavy cream and vodka. It wasn’t horrible just not what I’m used to. My husband ordered sea scallops which come with mushroom risotto. First of all, there are only 4 scallops and they were undercooked, still transparent inside even and the risotto was mush no bite to it at all. It tasted okay but it was not cooked properly either. My husband is not one to complain and usually eats what is given to him and did so here too. The place looks very nice inside and everyone working there was pleasant. I’ll give it another shot cause I really want to like it. I’ll try different items next time and hope for a better outcome. We’re Italian so I need a place to go other than my own home to eat.
