February 9,2022 @11pm I called and placed an order to pick up asking for an Arepa with no cheese no sauce just lettuce tomatoes and onions. This is what I got. A arepa with nothing but sauce it’s bad enough they don’t have vegan options but the cashier was getting rube with me because i didn’t want to pay for that, but she told me if I don’t pay her manager would force her to pay for it. When I asked to speak with the manager she said there wasn’t one at the moment. The worse experience I’ve had at banana king , the one in Jersey city and North bergen are much better.

Generally doesn’t have much of a crowd but the food is great and the service is exceptional. The oatmeal shake is my number 1 selection on the menu, best shake ever reminds me of my grandmother’s oatmeal fresh for breakfast.

The customer service it’s awful, we place the order for our food and told them not to include certain ingredients and they made it the way they wanted, order 4 shakes and a lemonade, 2 of the shakes were made with spoiled fruit (banana) and the 3rd shake tasted like water had no fruit taste. The sandwiches, they added all the ingredients even tho we told them not to, the salchipapas, we order them plain and they still put the sauce. It was for take out, when I got home and tasted it was nasty, went back to the restaurant and the lady said that it was done correctly and that’s how the shakes are made everywhere, noooooooo I know how the good food taste like!!! she dead a$$ said it was good and that she wasn’t going to make them again for real someone that work at a kitchen doesn’t know what and how nasty spoiled bananas taste like?? After a little back and forth with the employee they had to give us the money for only 2 shakes. Worst customer service and food ever, wish there was a 0 stars. Never going back to that place.

I cannot fault the food because it is fantastic. But the service, especially at night, is terrible with the cashier. She is insulting and treats customers like we are idiots, raising her voice. Around 3:50 pm today, I only asked for an order of empanadas, and they gave it to me in a case of cheese and chicken. The place is not busy. The service is horrible, but everything changes when a guy arrives at the site. I believe he is the manager. Horrible
