Home of the Mango Margarita and the best view in Bethany Beach! Mango’s boasts two bars and two separate cocktail areas, so we have plenty of room for you to unwind from a long summer day of doing nothing! The bar opens at 11:30 am and closes at 11:30 pm on the days we are open, per Town of Bethany regulations. Happy Hour runs from 1-6 pm daily at both bars and cocktails areas, shirt and shoes kindly required. No persons under 21 permitted in the main bar area, but we do permit families with children in our cocktail areas.

The place was almost empty on a Wednesday mid-afternoon, so we got our choice of seats – by the window was perfect! Our server was attentive and kind. Our drinks (frozen mangorita and dreamsicle crush) were great and our food was perfect. The fried calamari was fresh and light, the lemon-basil crab pasta got the spot, and grilled chicken sandwich was a hit. We will return!

The food is typical bar food but I give it a 5 because the views and location are amazing! If you want the best view of the boardwalk, beach and crashing waves while you eat and drink then this is the place to go! Third floor seating with several outside areas that are all covered. They do have a couple fun bars with a Margaritaville feel. There is also have an elevator for those who can’t do the stairs.

Best part is the view and that’s about where the good ends. The food is bad. Worst calamari I’ve had in a long time. The paella was basically inedible. The coconut shrimp had no taste. Service is poor, slow and not very friendly. This was in April so there was no big summer crowd. I won’t be back.

Staff wasn’t friendly at all. Nobody greeted me when I walked in. The girl at the bar saw me but never acknowledged me, when she finally took my order , she was not pleasant at all. There wasn’t even a half of an ounce of crab meat and I paid $24 for just a little bit of pasta and couple pieces of broccoli. When I called to let them know multiple times no one answered the phone. The view of beach inside the restaurant was nice. Was gonna come back but definitely not worth going back after all of that. Very disappointed. I’ve worked in restaurants industry for years, there was only a few people sitting at the bar, the restaurant wasn’t even that busy. Definitely need to step it up.

The Best of the Best Guests
All food was amazing despite some of these reviews saying it was inedible, the food was delicious!! My family is a little crazy/obnoxious but our waiter was very kind and played off of our funny and silly energy! The view of the Ocean was top tier and the inside was comfortable and the setup of the restaurant made for a beautiful and fun experience!! I would definitely come again without hesitation!

This is our first time staying at Bethany Beach and we chose this restaurant on a wimb and wernt disappointed! Their jerk chicken is SO GOOD. I got the crab pasta and it was absolutely delicious. Prices were a bit more compared to restaurants at home, but that is to be expected! Our waitress was incredible too! For my drink, I got the Pina colada and it was to die for!

We went for the happy hour (1 pm – 6 pm every day) and got the nachos and fish tacos, both of which were great. We got the Mangorita and Creamsicle Crush and would definitely recommend the Mangorita. Just wished it tasted more like mangoes and not just like a tropical drink.
