hidden gem in union. the crust on the pizza is premier, the crunch is awesome. had the cheese and the pep and the upside slice all were excellent. nice staff and clean eating area and fast service with limited parking.

Went for slices here. Visited on a weekday and there weren’t many slices. Wish there was more options. I got a meat lovers and a grandma slice. They were both great but the grandma slice takes the cake. 8.8 / 10. Great flavor and creamy texture. Has notes of garlic and some basil sprinkled on it. Every bite was great. The slices were really big too. In retrospect, I think a plain slice would’ve been better than the meat lovers. It adds a lot of grease with the meat. It was good but could be better. I’d give meat lovers a 6.

I was craving a slice so I decided to check this place out. I love pizza and I love garlic knots. I have traveled all of Jersey eating all the pizza and knots you can imagine; this by far was the best! The garlic knots were made on the spot so they were so fresh: soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside and the best balance of garlic ever! I loved the slice also. It was the perfect size, crunchy on the bottom with the tastiest tomato sauce I’ve ever had. I highly recommend Manny’s pizza. They have parking on the back and the owner was nice enough to deliver our meal to us!

Got pizza by the slice…pepperoni and plain. Excellent! Good crust and the sauce tasted great. The owner (I believe) chatted with us for a while…super friendly. I also grabbed an Italian Sub to go, it made the 2 and half hour car ride home perfectly. I just had a small piece (still full from lunch), the sub had a little heat and was excellent as well! We came from out of town and used the previous reviews to guide us…it did not disappoint.

Ordered medium plain pie (14 inches). Fresh ingredients, medium crust with very good bread. Cheese dominant pie. Plenty of cheese. Low key and friendly place. Price typical: $15 for plain pie and water. Decor not superb. Good place overall.

Wow what can I say.. I really can’t say more but I am glad however I was hungry and wanted something different and man did I get just that. I can’t across one of the best hidden gem today I have found since moving to Newark. Owner was great… Food was great was .. Was Fresh and soft.. I was comfortable with fam there.. We talked.. Ate had a great time.. Chopped it up with Manny.. Did tell him we was definitely coming back again.. More than satisfied.
