The $10-20 per person estimate is a little low but I still strongly suggest trying this place. I’d say closer to $20-30 per.

Two thumbs up for this cozy spot. We made a reservation for our anniversary but we didn’t really need one for early Sunday night dinner. Our table had a reserved sign and we sat in the window. Free parking in the back of the restaurant and you can enter through the back.

A good meal. The sandwich, sort of a caprese sandwich with prosciutto, was very flavorful. A real shame that the bread is store bought and was a bit stale. The pizza was yummy. Nothing special, but a very nice meal and a nice small place.

Take out is done at same fine level as in-house service. Superb handling of eggplant. Excellent renditions of classic Italian, Greek and Italian -American dishes.

My family came here to celebrate my birthday this past week. The service was terrific, the meal was terrific and the prices were reasonable ! The ambiance was very comfortable and homey, and not pretentious.

This place has been here a long time and you can’t beat the value you get for the quality of food. A glass of wine is only $7.50 and I enjoyed a nice glass of Pinot Noir & a Gyro. It was delicious snd just over $20. Would have been double in DC! Nice to eat well and not break the bank; by the way the menu is vast with lots of Greek and Italian dishes.

I have been coming here for close to 30 years when it was owned by the old Italian Carabinieri, Don Cesare, just for the fresh, homemade mozzarella cheese (or more precisely, fior di latte as opposed to bufala). Fortunately, the new owners still make it and though it isn’t up to the standards of Campania, it is by far the best in DC area!!!
