Great place for breakfast, lunch and Pizzas. Comfortable environment and very friendly staff. They have great specials and must-try-desserts. The resturant is in a scenic location, few mins drive from the lake, and is family owned.

This diner made my husband and I happy. We went looking for pizza found it but, ordered wonderful omelets with homeade biscuits and gravy. Waitress kept our drinks filled. Had leftovers for the next morning. Cape Fair lake visit for the win

Stopped at 11:05am, lunch starts at 11. Asked what vegetable was available with specific lunch meal no one knew not even cook. Changed decision on choice to breakfast food waitress said would be quicker. Waited 30 minutes for food. Biscuits and gravy was not a Biscuit it was a hot roll. Place wasn’t even busy. Cost $21 for food that wasn’t good. Never again.

We recently went on a trip for a family wedding. The place we were staying was great but they didn’t serve breakfast until 10:30 AM. Not wanting to wait that long we went down the road and found the Maple Hill Restaurant. There was 10 of us and the wait staff and the cook did a phenomenal of quickly serve us and all of their regular customers. The food was great and the service even better. I highly recommend stopping in and getting an excellent meal.

We visit Maple Hill every year to end out family vacation at Bridgeport Resort. This was our first visit since the new owners took over at the beginning of the year and I have to say, they took over without skipping a beat. The food and service were excellent. Not to mention the great updates they made to the dining room. We can’t wait to visit again next year!

We like to support local businesses and were pleased that Maple Hill opened with new owners. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The portions were very small. Had a patty melt, could only taste the onions and the bread, the patty was so thin and tasteless. Supposed to have been on marble rye, but was on something else. Hubby had the Maple Hill griller. He said there was only one small, thin slice of ham, and no cheese. And the sandwich was only toasted on one side. Sorry to say, but unless they change, we won’t be back.

Was passing through Cape Fair MO and decided to stop here for breakfast. I got the bigfoot omelette which had ham,bacon,sausage and cheese and it was fantastic. The biscuit with gravy and bigfoot pancakes were also great. Might have to make another trip that way as there were other menu items that looked be good.
