Great food. Great service. Must have if you’re in or passing thru Rochester Vermont ! Updated: the best cornbread in the United States of America lives here. All their food is honestly amazing. My first review didn’t do this place Justice, this place could hold its own in any city anywhere. The food is absolutely phenomenal. Also the wings are amazing, and the cheesecake will have your mouthwatering. This place is so good it made me mad, because I can only have it once or twice a year.

Hands down one of our favorite restaurants in VT. The food is always farm fresh and fantastic, the service is always friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I love the open kitchen concept and watching the owner/ chef work hard at making everything perfect and beautifully plated and I love how kind they are to our kids. It’s a restaurant we always love to dine at and we highly recommend it to friends, family and our Airbnb guests ❤️

I visited Maple Soul with my partner while on vacation. We popped in without a reservation but they were able to find room for us at a table near the bar. Immediately we felt welcomed by Allie, who provided awesome service the entire time. We also saw a lot of community activity at the bar with both locals and tourists, which is always a plus for me. The food was truly great – we had the Tomatoes and Burrata to start, and the Fried Chicken and a Caesar Salad with Cajun Shrimp as our mains. Everything was amazingly flavorful, fresh and appropriately sized (no crazy huge servings). My partner finished with the Key Lime Pie, which she enjoyed. We also had wine and soda, all for under $100. Also, when we were leaving, there was a crazy downpour and someone there helped us get directions by sharing the restaurant’s Wifi password. Overall, just an awesome experience as a visitor to Rochester and I highly recommend checking out Maple Soul!

This place is a gem. I almost hesitate to write this review because I want to be sure I can get a reservation next time I want a spectacular meal. The food is beautifully prepared, locally sourced, and imaginatively inspired. Smoked delicata squash with pistachios and blue cheese…incredible. (See photo…it’s also beautiful). The shrimp and grits are heavenly. Everything we ordered was perfect. And served by a charming and top-notch server. The setting is lovely, like eating in your best friend’s dining room (if your best friend is a world-class chef who will lean out of the open kitchen to recommend wine). I can’t wait to go back. My wife and I run the Featherbed Inn in Waitsfield, and we will be telling all of our guests it is well worth a 30 minute drive to spend an evening at Maple Soul.

Found a gem! One of the best meals. Everything was great – Beet salad with goat cheese, Maple Soul Caesar, Cajun Shrimp and grits, cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake. Very enjoyable evening.
