This is our favorite little Italian Restaurant when visiting Hammonton… where there are more Paesanos per capita than any other Community in NJ! The place is run by a Classic Italian Grandma (maybe she just breaks 5′ tall) and Family members. The Service is friendly, courteous and good! The Food, of which there is a surprisingly wider-than-average assortment for this relatively small establishment; is excellent with many options for my Vegetarian Wife! There is nothing I wouldn’t recommend here…

This is a stellar Italian experience! Pizza is on the menu, but this is not your typical pizza joint, they have a full menu of traditional entrées and sides with a lot of variety. We started with the steamed clams, and my girlfriend had the special Eggplant Rollatini Special, which was amazing. I took a chance and ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara. I’m very picky about this dish, and I’m always comparing it with my favorite. Marcello’s exceeded my expectations and has become my new favorite place for Carbonara!

We’ve had pizza delivered from here a few times and I ate inside their restaurant today for the first time. I never really liked the pizza. The restaurant service was good, but the meal I had wasn’t great. The eggplant and pepper on my sandwich had a weird plastic taste. The food is just ok, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

I can appreciate the ambiance and the staffs accents but the food was mediocre and the service was even worse. There was only one other table other than us and we waited a veeery long time for our check. I ended up having to go to the counter to ask where our waitress was. It’s a cute establishment but I wasn’t wowed by the food. I’ll definitely visit again to try something else on the menu and maybe that will change my rating, hopefully.

I was at the Hammonton Festival,and my granddaughter wanted pepperoni pizza,we walked over and had a wonderful personal pie and two slices. 100% will be back everyone was nice ,service fast and personal.

Absolutely terrible. I ordered online, showed up 45mins after placing the order and it wasn’t ready. I could tell it wasn’t even started. It was Chicken Marsala and Spaghetti and Meatballs. So after waiting an additional 30 mins I got it home. My Chicken Marsala was filled with probably 2 cups of watery marsala sauce if I could even call it that. As you can see the pasta wasn’t even all the cooked and clumpy in the dish. The chicken was mushy and flavorless. You can tell it was absolutely rushed. It was terrible. This is unfortunately not the first time. But the first time it completely ruined our meal. If I could get a refund I would.

We drive an hour away, we love the food that much! The gnocchi is delicious, and my husband loves any shrimp dish. They changed the menu recently and did some inside decor updates. We prefer the prior menu, but they did accomodate with our requests for our favorite dishes that had been removed. Overall, the food is great and our family now drives the hour!
