I had a terrible experience at the Hope Mills location with the Manager. I am a new customer of Marcos and new resident of Cumberland County. Just purchased my home here about a month ago. I have frequented the Skibo location and it was a great experience. Too tired to travel and decided to call for delivery. I was told that the Hope Mills location delivered to my location. I called and ordered 2 Philly Cheese all the way but what I received was 2 soggy, cold, sandwiches with barely any meat, a few mushrooms and cheese. Now, I’ve never heard of a all the way sandwich with only this so I called back for clarity. My co cerns was met with rudeness and harsh words from the Manager. I asked for a General Manager and the Manager sarcastically said “Sureeee” and placed me on hold. When she returned she stated that her Manager refused to speak to a customer with a concern and what she said was correct. I was in shock. I asked for the store location number which she gave 8006 which belongs to another store. This is who represents Marco’s Pizza. This is representation and that is highly disturbing. I will be blogging about this and word of mouth is the number 1 form of advertising. Not a great way to conduct business.

Can you say unsanitary. Workers do not wear gloves, hair or beard nets. The girl who was working the cashier was going from the register back to making pizzas and back to the register without washing her hands or using hand sanitizer. The guy who was taking the pizzas and other items out of the oven was touching the finished pizzas, wings, and other items again with bare hands. The whole place just screams unsanitary. Won’t catch me spending my money again at this establishment.

Pizza is always good but the customer service whenever I place a carry out order is horrible. We placed an order online 40 plus minutes ago, was told the order was ready for pickup 10 mins ago, get here and the cashier (girl with glasses) blatantly ignored my boyfriend’s many request for his order. She kept brushing him off saying, it’s coming out of the oven now. He came out of store looking frustrated (without our food). I sent him back with the confirmation number of the order and proof that the order states “ready for pickup” the cashier then says it would be another 15 minutes for the pizza. Which leads me to believe that they hadn’t even started on my order yet. We literally ordered one cheese pizza lol. I only gave 2 stars because the pizza is always delicious. I don’t mind the wait, I would just like to be prepared for it. The order was placed online for our convenience and this ended up being the opposite of a convenient experience. The cashier could care less.

I really enjoy their pizza so let me get this out of the way first. But my last few visits have been super unfriendly. I have no idea what’s going on. I usually order from the app and did so today. I arrived when it said to and no pizzas were behind the counter. So I was just standing there for a good 5 minutes before I took a seat. Then my pizza was brought out. No one let me know what was going on. A simple “sir, we’re still working on your pizza” would suffice. The pizza is good but the service is questionable to say the least.

Marco’s Pizza is a family favorite. I used to frequent Little Caesar’s because they obviously have the cheapest priced pizza. We are a family of 6. My wife got Marco’s Pizza one time and my daughter expressed how inferior Little Caesar’s was. I couldn’t stop laughing. She accused me of depriving her of “real pizza”. She was 7 years old.
