Today was my first time ever ordering from Marco’s Pizza because I usually stay away from pizza chains, but I have been missing out on Marco’s! I wish I’d taken a picture of the pizza before digging in because it looked amazing. I had ordered my pizza already like 10 minutes and I remembered I’d forgotten to ask for extra sauce, which is how I like my pizza. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to still catch my pizza in time to honor my request. There are no words to describe how delicious my pizza was. There was SO MUCH cheese, as well as the toppings. The crust was soft and floppy, like a New York Style pizza and the edge was perfectly crispy. So glad I decided to try them on a whim tonight! The employees were very patient and friendly, especially since I wasn’t sure what I wanted, as it was my first time at Marco’s.

What can I say or where can I start. I live pretty far away but I work in this town so with the price being kind of cheap I’ve been eating here like three times a week. Always come in clutch with my food especially at my lunch break which is night time when everything else is closed. The staff here is usually very polite and courteous to people bringing business. We got some pizzas from there maybe 2 weeks ago and long story short, my husband misspoke when inquiring about a pizza deal (large one topping pizza for $8.99) and instead of the employee correcting him and telling him the correct deal he was referencing, she sold him some small pizzas, the size of my hand, and for $11 each. I called after he brought the pizzas back to try to get some understanding of why they sent us back the small pizzas, and possible get a remake, and she said he ordered them that way and they would not remake them. Since I wasn’t there when he ordered, I couldn’t dispute his wording but when I did ask her if a customer needed help ordering a pizza that was on special, and that customer references the price of the pizza, would she assist the customer in placing the order for the deal and she said “they only give customers deals when they know the exact deal. They don’t tell customers about the deals unless the customer already knows to ask”. I worked in customer service and for sure, she did not go above and beyond the basic scope of her job. The deciding factors of where I spend my money are customer service and quality of the items or services I am receiving. She, and management, bombed this one for me and I will never be back. There are soooooooo many other pizza places to go to and Marco’s isn’t on the top of that list to begin with. So for them to be “middle of the road” in pizza, they need to have outstanding customer service.

Ordered a pizza tonight and this is what I was given. It’s supposed to be half ground beef half cheese. As you can see, it looks like they threw the ingredients on my pizza. I called to request another pizza as well as some type of compensation for the poor service and inconvenience. The manager was rude and told me that “Your comp is me making you another pizza”. I ended up requesting a refund. I haven’t seen my refund on my debit card yet, but I’ll check in a few days. Customer service is sooooo bad nowadays. I had a customer service complaint toward this same store 4 years ago.

I ordered an all veggie pizza and got ground beef instead of pineapple. One of the employees came to the register and pushed buttons with gloves on, touched the phone, then walked back and started handling food without changing gloves.
