I am curious if there was a new cook or something yesterday (7/24) when I purchased a large pizza. It did not look or taste anything like a Marco’s pizza. The crust seemed very off and not appealing. The cheese didn’t seem to be melted and the meat added on top barely looked cooked. I am a little disappointed as I love the Marco’s in Waterville.

On Friday night Oct. 1 at the Waterville Marco’s my husband placed an in person order for a medium pepperoni pizza, as he does most Friday nights. Ironically, the young woman who took his order asked if he wanted the pizza well done and he replied no. She then said, “Oh, that’s the way you’ve ordered it before.” My husband replied, “No, I never order it well done.” As it turned out, the pizza was over baked, which he didn’t realize until he was back home. The pizza was very dry, very brown on the bottom and tasted like cardboard. Disappointing! The previous pizzas we’ve gotten there have been very good and tasty.

Marcos is generally not my first choice, but this store has got it down! The food was super hot and fresh and yummy, and despite a super-busy Friday night and line of peeps waiting, the manager had everybody in and out super-quick! We will be back!

Marco’s has always been our favorite pizza place. I give this two stars as the manager just handled dirty money and then handled my food without washing or putting gloves on.

The pizza was very good, and I really have nothing to complain about. The only reason that I didn’t make this a 5 star review was that the steak on the pizza looked very dark, which took away from the appearance of the toppings. (It tasted good though, so we liked the pizza.)

Marcos pizza is always very good and beats out most all of the other pizza companies. Where some of them fail is in providing adequate seating to eat in. Marcos pizza that is east of northwood ohio on woodville road is an exception as it is one with both ample seating and good restrooms. That store is highly recommended.

The pizza and subs are good. They aren’t great. The largest complaint I have about Marcos pizza is that it is nearly impossible to get ANY coupons to work, particularly over the internet. What is the point in having online ordering if the coupons you provide will not work?
